chapter 12

(Y/N)'s POV
The night was beautiful, the stars twinkled in the sky, moon bright. Not like we were going to see much of the sky since we were going to be inside a club but hey. The girls and I met up with the boys; Armin, Eren and Connie. Minus Marco since he was still avoiding me and he "apparently" had studying to do. Yeah, studying my arse. It still upset me that we couldn't just fix it because it's been weeks and I was over it now.

The girls and I all linked arms as we approached the boys. "Hello there, Ladies." Connie greeted us, acting all smug as usual. He probably thought it made him seem cool acting the way he did but in reality, he looked like a total dork. "Hey there, loser," Sasha said laughing. All of us laughed, Connie's smile dropping now crossing his arms. "You're all so mean." He huffed. We all laughed again. "You look nice," Eren said to Mikasa, she said a 'thanks' as she blushed. "Alright, love birds. Keep it to yourself." I tease. "Yeah, guys" Connie added. Everyone else now snickering apart from Eren and Mikasa who was embarrassed. They were now officially dating and we all liked to tease them about it but it was all in love.

We all entered the stunning looking building. It smelt of alcohol and weed, not that I was surprised. Eren and Mikasa walked off to sit on the couch to smoke and Connie, Armin, Sasha and I went to the bar to get a drink.

Sasha and I got vodka and coke, Connie got a beer while Armin only got plain coke. He didn't want to drink, he wanted to just look out for us if any of us got too drunk. Mostly for Connie. Since he always took things too far. Typical Connie for you.

We all sat and chatted for a while until Marina came over to us. She was wearing a long black glittery dress, I hated to admit but she looked good. She held a glass of wine in her right hand and her dark brown hair was slicked back in a long ponytail. "Hey, guys! So glad you could make it." She smiled but it was fake once she looked at me. I said a quiet hello along with Armin, and Sasha seemed cheerful when she greeted Marina. Connie was already kinda drunk. "Hey!" He stood up with a smug smile. "Hi, handsome," She said to him. Armin, Sasha and I all gave us the 'what the fuck' look. "How about you head over to the couch over there and I'll be right there," She said to Connie, smiling. He nodded. "Alright." Still acting so smug as he walked away, Marina looked at Sasha. "The buffet is finally open if you want to head over" She kept a smile on her face. What is she up to? I thought to myself. Sasha quickly got up and told us she'd see us later and she ran over to the buffet which was well away from where we were.

"Enjoy yourselves, you two!" She smiled at me like a bitch. She turns away and walks off with sass towards Connie. I hadn't spotted Jean yet but I was hoping to see him later.

I roll my eyes at her. "She's definitely up to something."

"Yeah, haha. I figured" Armin agrees. "What happened with you and her? Something seems to be brewing between the two of you?" He asks.

I sighed. "She told me to back off Jean? Even though we're just friends?"
"Why would she tell you to back off him?" Armin was a bit confused, although he was academically very smart but just not when it came to relationships.
"Because they're a thing, again?"
"Oh...I see. I would just ignore her, if you're just friends with Jean she should be able to see that."
"Yeah...I guess that's true..." I purse my lips unsure if I should tell Armin about my little feelings for Jean cropping up now slowly.
"You don't like him? Do you?" Armin asked, I quickly shook my head. "No..no. Of course not"

Armin and I talked for a bit until he went off to find Eren and Mikasa. He offered me if I wanted to come but I wanted to try and find Sasha again. I got up and started walking around trying to see if I could find Sasha.
