Finally, Miyaji Cardfight Club won. They were now qualified to fight in the finals, and of course, Fukuhara Cardfight Club immediately went up to the rankings and since they were the champions of last year's tournament it's quite intimidating to fight against them.

It was already afternoon and the first half of the tournament already ended, the clubs that were participating were given hotel rooms to stay for the night with all the necessities needed for them. And such, participating clubs celebrated and had a party in the guest room. There were so many people there.

Miyaji Cardfight Club was being congratulated for their win, and the members were happy. As the afternoon went on, they all started to have a feast.

Haruka was speaking with Eun-ha when she noticed Kouichi standing in the middle of the crowd and looking a little lost. She took a glance back at Eun-ha and spoke. "Hey, I'll talk to you later, okay? I got some things to do."

"Alright, Haruka-ssi~" Eun-ha replied as she smiled at the auburn haired girl. Haruka then went on her way to Kouichi, and while she was excusing herself from the crowd that was blocking the way, she saw that Kouichi was talking to someone.

It was Ayame; and before Haruka could even call out to Kouichi, she saw that he was giving Ayame a head pat. Ayame was blushing while still pouting at him and Kouichi was grinning.

Haruka felt the same painful feeling inside her chest, she gritted her teeth and left the room to go to a balcony.

'Why does everything hurt? Why does it... hurt so much when I see them together?' She thought to herself as she let herself cry on the balcony that afternoon.

Flashback

Sometimes after school, Haruka would find Kouichi in the music room of the school whenever the cardfight club didn't have any particularly important activities to do. She would hear him playing the guitar, strumming the strings or sometimes plucking them to create a melody of a song.

One song that she enjoys was the song White Album. The song was lovely, and it was actually one of the songs that made Haruka first sing along to Kouichi's guitar playing. She could still remember how they harmonized, and how she wanted to do so again.

This time, she was hearing another song. Haruka knew the song again right away and while she wanted to come in and interact with Kouichi, she remembered that she had a sibling date with her brother.

Haruka stopped watching Kouichi and walked away, humming the same song that Kouichi was playing.

End of Flashback

Haruka was resting her head on her crossed arms against the balcony fence. She was looking at the sunset, and trying to calm herself down. The sight seeing Kouichi and Ayame together still gives her heartache, and even so, she understood the consequences of becoming so close with the guy. She doesn't really want him to be caught into this whole mess. And so she just watches from the sidelines as always, even if it hurts her.
