"Hey honey?!" You hear Steve yell from inside your room
"Yea?" you say coming out of the bathroom with just a towel on
Steve stares out the towel with red cheeks not saying anything
"Steve?" You ask looking at him
"What?- oh yea right sorry" he says looking up from the towel and in your eyes with pink cheeks
"i was gonna ask if you'd seen my-" you gasp cutting him off
"Steve what did you do to your face?" You ask seriously
"What? What do you mean?" He feel his face trying to feel for what you're talking about
"What happened to your beard?" You ask with a glare
"Oh I uh- I shaved" he shrugs
"What do you mean you shaved?" You ask taking steps away form him
"I mean I shaved" he says
"no" you say monotone
"What do you mean no? Honey are you okay?" He ask stepping closer and you step back
"anyway, have you seen my shield?" He asks
"Kitchen" you say emotionless
"thanks honey, me and buck are gonna go to the park" he says before leaning in to give you a kiss to which you dodge and he kisses your cheek
You see him walk out with a confused and sad expression on his face

"Hey sweetheart" Steve says walking in the kitchen
"..." you don't say anything back
"Hey sweetheart" he says again thinking you didn't hear him
But again no reply
"Y/n" he calls your name trying to get your attention
You continue making your sandwich in silence
"Y/n!" He says louder but alas no reply
"come on y/n, what's wrong?" He says putting his arms around your waist from the back
You take his arms off and open the refrigerator
"Why am I getting the silent treatment?" He comes over to the refrigerator and shuts it but you only go back to your sandwich
"Okay what's going on between you two" tony says from the kitchen door leaning on the frame
"I don't know it started this morning" Steve tells Tony sighing
"And what happened this morning?" Tony asks going into full therapist mode
"I was gonna ask a question but she was caught up on the fact that I shaved" he says leaning against the counter
your still eating your sandwich in silence listening to the two talk
"I see" tony says clearing his throat
"Y/n?" Tony calls you from the door frame
"Yes Tony?" You ask putting down your sandwich and turning to him
"Really? Come on." Steve throws his hands up
"It seems that y/n didn't like that you shaved, she took it very personal" tony tells Steve then leaves
"Is that true honey?" Steve walks towards you again
"I'm sorry I didn't know you liked the beard that much" he apologizes
"I can grow it out again if you want? Just please talk to me again I can't take this" he begs you honestly thought he was about to get on his knees and beg
"Okay" you say turning to him
He lets out a relieved sigh and takes you in his arms picking you up and spins you around
"Steve put me down" you say giggling
"Fine, fine" he says setting you back in the ground
"But you owe me a kiss for this morning" he wraps his arms around your waist leaning in
"I will gladly pay that debt" you say before meeting his lips in a sweet kiss

Y/n was definitely being a b***h to Steve like he did not deserve that. This was so bad I got this idea when I was falling asleep, that explains a lot. But hope you enjoyed!!
