An introduction to the characters
Johnny and Kyra have been best friends basically since they were in diapers. Their moms allowed them to sleep over at each other's places even after they turned 16.
Johnny was the popular jock at high school while Kyra on the contrary, was a very quiet person. She was popular too but, for her intelligence.
People often mistook Kyra's and Johnny's relationship. Rumours were always around about them being in a relationship and teachers supported these rumours too. Only both of them knew that the rumours weren't true. They let the rumours go around so that people wouldn't hit on them or flirt with them.
Johnny was always hooking up with one of the girls but he avoided relationships and Kyra did the same except, she didn't like hooking up with anyone. These best friends, according to people, were two contrasting personalities. But, as we know, opposites always attract each other.
