It had been a few days since I returned home, and Topsy had prepared a meal for me in which I had not eaten because I could not get over the fact that my family was gone. According to Topsy, my parents and Dylan hated living here because of the memories, so they simply left...after being obliviated...they don't even know who I am anymore.

However, apparently Oliver and Ellie, and the rest of my cousins are still around so Topsy is currently searching the house for some parchment and a quill so I can write to them.

As I picked at my food, an owl soared in through an open window and perched on the chair next to me. It dropped an envelope into my food and then flew off. I immediately recognized the neat cursive on the back as Draco's.

"I'm sorry. Please come back," was scrawled across the parchment. I crumpled up the letter and tossed it aside. It's not like I was mad, but Draco was right, and I need to work things out with my family first.

Many days went by since I sent my note to Elizabeth, but I have not heard from her.

I should've known better.

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by a sharp cry coming from Vanessa's room.

She's such an annoying imbecile, I swear. She's due in a matter of weeks and her and Goyle are still getting it on.

I stomped up to my door and pulled it open, but I was surprised to see Goyle sprinting towards me.

"I-it's time," he rasped, "the baby is coming."

My eyes grew wide at the sight of Vanessa wobbling towards us, she gripped her stomach and she was breathing heavily.

"Don't just stand there! Help!" she jeered. "And for the sake of Merlin, Draco, get Lizzie!"

Goyle took Vanessa's arm and without thinking, I apparated to the Rosewood's Manor.

"What the hell! Draco!?"

Draco stood before me, out of breath. He reached his hand out to me and I took it, knowing not to ask.

Seconds later, I stood before St Mungo's Hospital with Draco.

"Is it the baby?" I asked eagerly,

He nodded and pulled me inside. "I know we had a bit of a falling out because of it, but I want to be in the baby's life as much as you do," he explained as we walked through the halls quickly.

"Really?"

"Mhm," he hummed. "I want what you want, and if that makes you happy, then I'm happy, too."

"I love you. Thank you, Draco."

"I love you, too," he responded.

We stopped in a waiting room and sat down. Draco took my hand in his. "How was seeing your family?"

I looked down and felt my lip beginning to quiver. He pulled my face up so I was looking at him, but one glance in his eyes caused me to burst into tears.

"T-they're gone."

His eyes went wide. "I-this is all my fault."

I shook my head. "No...it's not. My other family members are still around, but Dylan and my parents left...they were obliviated."

Draco wrapped an arm around me and pulled me into his chest. I buried my face in his chest and cried.

I really felt bad for Draco because I knew he blamed himself for everything that has happened.

"Draco, Elizabeth..."

I pulled my face away from Draco's chest. Draco was asleep and it was dark outside. Goyle stood before me.

"The baby...she did it," he said.

I shook Draco and he awoke. "What's wrong?" he mumbled.

"Come meet your godchild," said Goyle.

Draco's eyes lit up and he stood up quickly. We followed Goyle to another room and he pushed it open, revealing Vanessa holding a baby.

She smiled tearfully as Draco and I walked over to the bedside.

"Meet your niece...Brielle," she said as she handed Brielle to me.

Brielle's soft blue eyes peered into mine. She already had brown hair growing on her head, and she also had the same tan skin as Vanessa.

"She's gorgeous, Ness," I said as I peered down at Brielle in awe.

Draco wrapped an arm around my waist as he looked down at Brielle. "Good thing she got the looks of a Rosewood," he whispered.

I rolled my eyes and handed Brielle back to Vanessa. "Take good care of her for me," said Vanessa.

"You know she'll be well cared for," I responded.
