Hi. I usually don't do og sds here but I am making an acceptation since someone requested it and I do love the og. I'm also open to do more character x reader one-shots if you want to request it. This is the first time I've done this so I'm sorry if it doesn't come out right.

I was a human in a world of magical creatures. Everything changes for me when the the demon clan attacked. I was forced to flee my village. Now I'm constantly moving, avoiding the demons best I can. I was a normal human, no magic, not fighting skill. So I couldn't do anything to fight against the demons. But I could survive if I play it smart. So here I was, walking in the woods, looking for some berries to eat. Suddenly I heard a rustling in the bushes. I looked over, expecting to see a bunny or something some out but instead a person did. I yelped, not expecting to see another person here. The got up from the ground quickly. I looked them up and down. There wore a red outfit with white accents that exposed their chest. And giant metal gloves that I assumed served as armor. With raven black hair that was a little slicked back but stick out at odd places. He had red eyes and a strange looking tattoo on his forehead. The person looked at me. They suddenly drew out a sword. I yelped, stepping back a bit. I was not expecting them to draw a sword on me. "Hey! I'm not here to fight!" I yelped. The person glared at me. "Your point?" They asked. I froze, what was up with this guy. "Ah well. There's no point in fighting me if I'm not gonna fight you... at least I think that's how that works." I said, almost laughing at myself. He continued to glare at me. "You're a human?" They asked. I smiled. "Well yeah, I'm just a normal human without any magic." I said. They hummed. "You should get out of here." They said. I tilted my head. "How come?" I asked. "Because there are demons near by. You can't protect yourself." They said. I huffed, kind of insulted but at the same time, he was right, I couldn't protect myself. "What about you?" I asked. "Well, for starters I can protect myself, unlike you." They said. I blinked. They did have armor, although very little, and a weapon. I have to assume they know how to use it. "Okay...you take care of yourself then!" I said before turning from him. I was about to walk away when I remembered something. I turned back to them. "Hey. What's your name?" I asked. The hummed. "Uh. Call me...Kai." They said. I smiled. "Okay Kai. I'm Y/N. It was nice meeting you. Try not to die!" I exclaimed. Then I left.
It's been a few days since that encounter. I don't think I'll ever see Kai again. For all I know they could be dead. Oh well.
He was really cute too.
