"(Y/n), what's Tanjiro to you?"
There was a moment of silence, as (y/n) got speechless not knowing how to answer it. Many thoughts suddenly wave into her head.

"Oka-san, look!" The little girl ran towards her mother, her (e/c) orb eyes gleamed with excitement.
She's holding a colourful flowers on her hand, that she pick from the mountain. Her clothes were a bit stained due to running around the dirt, as her hair a little messy.
The woman who's hanging the clothes stop for a short moment, bending down to the little girl's height and look her. She was holding up the flower to her mother, smiling brightly.
"Oh my, is this for me?" She ask her daughter, taking the flower and giving her a closed-eyes smile.
"I found it when I was playing in the woods, and I thought you'd like it!" She said, a bright cheerful tone
"I like everything you gave me, (y/n)." Her mother replied in a soft tone.
"Next week, Tanjiro and Nezuko are going to visit us. So be nice and treat them politely, okay?" Her mother said, as the girl got exited hearing it.

(Y/n) sat on her cotton bed, laying on it while waiting for her mother to come sleep with her. She stared at the ceiling for a moment, eyes still wide open and not feeling sleepy.
'When will she come? I want to hear her lullaby...'
As (y/n) continue to wait, she felt the cold wind from outside blowing into the room, her pulse began to quickened and getting goosebumps.
Just when she was about to close her eye, (y/n) heard a scream.
"AAAHHHHHHH"
The scream were loud, as she flattered her eyes open in surprised, and bringing her body to get out from the bed.
(Y/n) was about to check outside the door, when her mother suddenly burst in. She got surprised, falling on the ground, her eyes shaken.
In front of her, was her mother covered in red crimson blood, shaking. Her (e/c) eyes turn to look beside her mom, outside the door. There, stood a men in black suit and his red crimson eyes staring at them.
Her view was blocked when her mother suddenly reach out to hold her daughter in her arms, and carry her outside the house. Her mother rush and continue to run, leaving the house behind them.
(Y/n) could feel her mother's skin against her's, felt as cold as ice. She took a glance, and saw a hot tears coming from her mother. Her mother was breathing heavily, panicked.
Turning to look behind them, the men in black just stare at the two running away from him, as the scenery of their house fade from her vision.
A few moments later, her mother make a stop, dropping her knees to the ground, her heartbeat were beating like crazy.
"Oka-san?" (Y/n) whispered, calling out her mother, her voice so low.
Hearing the girl's voice, her mother turn to look at her, eyes piercing to the (e/c). Her face seem to be filled with panicked.
"Listen, (y/n).... I want you to run far away from here.... and look for help. Hah...hah...." She stop for a second, and continue. "Don't turn around, don't look for me. Keep your head to look in front, and don't stop running." Her mother said to her in demanding tone, while breathing heavily.
"What about you?" She ask, her voice low and holding her tears in terrified.
"Oka-san can't come with you. I'll try to distract him, and you need to run first!"
The words seem to be stabbing through her heart, as hot tears slowly come out from the (e/c) orb.
"GO. NOW!" Her mother said to her, as (y/n)'s got surprised by her words. That was the first time her mother has ever raised their voice to her.
She slowly step back, legs trembling. Then she turn around, running away with her small legs, not taking a single glance at her mother.
The sound of stick crunching under her steps was heard, as she breath heavily while running in the big woods. She continue to run for who knows how long, while wiping the tears streaming down her face.
"AAARRRGGGHHHH!"
The voice of her mother's scream could be heard from behind, despite their big distances.
Running without direction in the woods, leads her to an unknown place, as the girl tremble in fear. She fall to the ground, and drop her knees after so long running.
(Y/n) make a stop under a large tree, in the middle of the forest. She lay on the ground, holding her knees to her chest, feeling cold. The only thing companied her was the sound of owl echoing through the midnight, cloud passed the crescent moon hanging in the middle night, for what seems like a painting.
Terrified and alone, she sobbed hoping for someone to come and help. It didn't took her too long for her eyes to feel tired, and lead to fall asleep. (Y/n) stayed there until the morning, praying to wake up from the nightmare.
