Legolas x reader part 2

Pregnancy

Baby bump:

I groan throwing another tunic on the too small pile, nothing fits anymore due to my growing bump. Trying on a blue one I sigh in relief when it fits comfortably. Legolas walks into the room but stops short when he sees the pile of discarded clothes "Is there a problem with your clothes?" I sigh pouting slightly "Nothing fits anymore." he walks over kissing my forehead gently "We'll get you some new clothes tomorrow." I nod leaning my head on his shoulder "How was your day?" he shrugs slightly "The woods are empty of spiders for now, no orcs. So I spent the day training."

I pull away as he places his hands on my growing stomach rubbing it gently "Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?" I smile "I don't care. As long as they are healthy." he nods kissing my cheek then my lips "How are you feeling?" I sigh "A little morning sickness but other than that I feel fine." he brushes his lips over mine "Would you like a bath?" I smile brightly "That would be wonderful." he walks into the bathroom and I hear the taps turning on. Picking up my clothes I start putting them away before walking into the bathroom to find Legolas pouring scents into the bath.

He stands removing his shirt before walking over to my side "Arms up." he lifts my tunic up over my bump and drops it on the floor next to his own. Slipping in the water I sit between his legs leaning back against his chest relaxing in the warm water. "Your so beautiful." I blush looking up at him causing him to grin "Its true, your beautiful and smart and courageous and an amazing fighter and I am so lucky to have you." he presses a kiss to my temple then my cheek rubbing a hand over my belly "I love you and I'm going to love our baby just as much." I giggle "I love you to."

First kicks:

I roll onto my back trying to get comfortable and huff moving my head  onto Legolas's shoulder. A small pain jolts me awake, I sit up placing a hand on my stomach jumping when it happens again. "Legolas, Legolas. Wake up." I shake his shoulder causing him to jerk away reaching for the dagger on the night stand "What's going on? Are you alright? Is it the baby?" I giggle "Everything is fine, the baby kicked." 

He beams placing his hand next to mine laughing when the baby kicks once more "Does it hurt?" I sigh "A little but I don't really care at the moment." he chuckles wrapping an arm around my waist kissing my cheek multiple times "I can't wait to meet our little one." I smile turning my head to kiss him properly giggling when the baby kicks again "I love you."

Singing:

I settle back into the cushions by the window humming softly to myself while rubbing a hand over my swollen belly. They kick once more causing me to wince "You're going to be a little warrior," I sigh and turn my head when Skylar waddles into the room a bowl in her hands "I bought you some soup." I smile softly taking the bowl from her "Thank you." she leans her head in my lap curling up on the floor "Can I help at all?" I wince pushing myself upright "I don't think so, I've tried everything the healer recommended."

She nods butting her nose against my belly "Please stop making Y/N hurt, she loves you." I laugh sipping at my soup resting  a hand on Skylars head, she looks up "Have you tried singing?" I shake my head and finish my soup "Singing?" she nods "I read in a book somewhere singing or reading helps the baby develop and calm down." I nod and try to think of a song settling on one my mother used to sing to me.

Halfway through the baby calms down and by the end has stopped kicking entirely. The song ends and Skylar grins "Did it help?" I nod smiling brightly "They stopped kicking entirely." I sigh closing my eyes "I think I'm going to take a nap." 

When I wake up I'm in my own bed Legolas next to me reading a book. "Skylar told me you where sleeping in the library so I came and bought you here, how you feeling?" I smile sleepily moving closer to his side "Much better, the baby stopped kicking when I started singing." he grins kissing my temple "That's wonderful." I nod falling back into a deep sleep.
