It's quiet, the sound of the music in the background but it's barely heard. Liam's eyes were focused on the painting in front of him... the painting of a faceless man. Liam doesn't know why him, but it's all Liam can paint when he's free and when he has no customers

He sighed and put his brush down, He took a step back and looked at it. It drives him crazy when he can't figure things out. He absolutely hates it, he likes to know what/who he's painting. But when a faceless figure keeps appearing in your dreams, when they keep you up at night when they invade your thoughts...

You really don't have much of a choice

Liam's deep thoughts were disturbed by his phone getting an email notification, he picked up his towel and wiped his hands before he picked his phone up.

Dear Mr. Payne,
I'm a big fan of your art, and I've been meaning to send you an email regarding you drawing a portrait for me.
I'll pay whatever is necessary, but I'd like to go to a specific place.
I'll pay for your gas/plane tickets if necessary.
But if you can, please do reply as soon as possible

Liam wanted to decline, he doesn't know where this specific place is, whoever sent him this message could be a killer. But Liam turned towards the faceless portrait of the man and realized he was in desperate need to leave his apartment. He's been home all week, not talking to anyone but the 4 walls of his home, not listening to anyone talk but the bits of some of the songs he listens to where a conversation is heard

The email seemed formal, but Liam doesn't know how to reply to a formal email. His team is literally him, his supplies and his hands.

Good morning,
It depends on the location, the size, and the time it'll take me.
The type of paint you'd like me to use, as some would cost more than any other. The more distance it'll take me to reach a location the more it'll cost, the bigger the canvas, the more time it'll take the pricey-er it'll be

He doesn't believe 'pricey-er' is how it's spelled but he didn't care

Once Liam finished replying, he threw his phone on the couch and started to pack everything up. He took the portrait off of the easel and put it aside. He picked all of his brushes up and walked into the bathroom and started to wash them, he looked at the mirror before he took his art apron off and took a deep breath walking out of the bathroom and towards the kitchen

Liam was in bed replying and deleting messages and emails from spammers, scammers, and potential clients- by potential he means people who want a 40-hour painting for free and will pay him for an exposure.

He then came across the email from the person from this morning

Dear Mr. Payne,
Any size is possible, I'd also like the best type of paint you can get. I'm not picky, anything you can do works. The price doesn't matter

Liam nodded realising that this client might be easier than all of the others he's had before.

But here's the catch... I'll need it to be done in a cabin of mine that I have in the forest.

There it is...

If it's ok with you, you and I can stay there for as long as it's needed for it to be done. If you have decided to decline it's all ok.

Liam sighed rubbing the back of his head, in one part, this could be good for him. A few days away from his apartment, a forest, and fresh air. A stranger who could be a nice person.

Who knows, this might make Liam want to move to a cabin in the forest, Liam took a deep breath and typed his reply before he could change his mind

With everything you asked for, it won't be cheap.
My prices range from £10 an hour for the biggest size. Depending on the time of day you'll like it to be done, it'll all depend on your choice.
Take into account that me working on your portrait during the weekend will also cost you more.

Liam pressed send before he closed his laptop and put it on the floor, he laid down and looked at his ceiling that he painted himself because he got so bored in his apartment one day

But that's the beauty of being an artist, you don't need a piece of paper or a canvas or a book. Just find something bland and boring and paint over it.

Nobody can tell you it isn't art because they could be misunderstanding the art, and that could put them on the bad side of an artist.

Who wants to be on the bad side of an artist?

During the early hours of the morning, Liam received the reply
