Saiba Joichiro didn't want to go see Nakiri Senzaemon but he was convinced otherwise for old times' sake
He agreed since his wife is away for the day and he has nothing else to do but look after their son
"Where are we going, Oyaji?" Little soma asked as they got inside a fancy black car
"You'll see." Was the only response of Joichiro which his son didn't liked
Soma gasped in amazement the moment they parked in front of a huge house
They were greeted by an old man, "Ah, Long time no see, Joichiro."
He looked up to his father happily greeting the old man back that he learned of the name
"You must be Saiba Soma-kun, yes?" The boy nodded
"My Granddaughter will be pleased to meet someone her age."
As if on cue, a blonde girl an inch or two taller than him went beside her grandfather with a timid expression
"This is Erina."
Soma mumbled the girl's name under his breath, as if to test it. "Hi Erina, I'm Soma!" He enthusiastically said to her
Erina, surprised by his manner just stared at him. His fervent gaze piercing through her
It was a first for her to meet someone so brash other than her cousin
The two adults chuckled at the two contrasting personalities. Senzaemon gestured for the two guest to follow him in the Nakiri Household

A whole month has passed since Yukihira Soma's transfer to Tōtsuki
"Research societies?"
"Yeah, Tōtsuki has a lot of groups that research specific types of food." Ryoko said
"It's our version of clubs and it's optional if you want to join one." She added with Yoshino and Megumi listing different groups and what they specialized in
"Then it's decided! Megumi and I will check out some clubs today!" Soma said as he rose from his seat
The blue haired girl was startled by the declaration, "Eh?! Why me??"
"I'll come with, Enji-kun!" Isshiki said
Megumi chosed not to protest anymore and nodded her head in defeat when her words fell on deaf ears
The trio went to the post board located on the school grounds. One in particular caught the red head's attention
"Interested in Donmono Research Society?"
"Yeah. Maybe it'll inspire menu items for our restaurant." Soma responded to his senpai
"Let's go take a look!"
Megumi sighed, she felt like a chaperone to two hyper kids
"W-Wait for me!" She huried after them when she realized they were starting to leave her behind
The door to the Don RS was open. They were greeted by a gloomy guy with a pompadour hairstyle, "Sorry, but you should all go... Don RS is about to become history."
