"You're late, Miss Gilmore," my french teacher stated with absolutely no emotion. "i-" I started but was interrupted. "Please take your seat," he said. I was never close with any of my teachers, especially Monsieur Monet. He would always call on me when my hand clearly wasn't up and would always find some way to argue with me.

For some reason, today, the school day felt so much longer than usual but during my last class we had a huge pop quiz that I was NOT ready for and I knew I definitely failed but didn't really give a shit. Before I got in my car to head to work I heard Lea call my name.

"Hey Delilah wait up" she yelled. I told Lea about my mom not being able to make it tomorrow for me and my mom's birthday so I knew she was planning something.

"Oh no, what did you do," I asked with a giggle.

"My house, 10:00 pm, don't be late" she stated with a smile before quickly skipping off. I laughed while getting in my car and heading to work.

Time skip

"Have a nice night" I said cheerfully to the last customer to leave the coffee shop. It was almost 9:45 pm, almost time to head to Lea's house so I quickly cleaned up the last customer's plate and cups then to my surprise I heard the door ring as three men in suits walked in.

"Sorry, we're closed," I said trying to be polite while a bit annoyed because I wanted to see what Lea was planning for me. I looked up from what I was doing to see the three very attractive men standing right in front of me on the other side of the counter but only the man in the middle stood out to me. He was tall, he had short dark brown wavy hair, a perfect face shape with that smirk that would annoy the hell out of you but also give you butterflies. He also had tattoos all over his body, from his neck to his forearms and also his hands. I could almost guarantee he had tattoos all over his chest too.

"Don't worry sweetheart, we will only be a minute" he spoke with a very faint Italian accent that made me blush. "Three chocolate croissants and one black coffee," He said.

"Okay, is that it for you guys?" I asked while emphasizing the "O" in the word okay. They all nodded yes without saying a word. "Okay, your total comes to 11.62$," I said with a smile. The man in the middle with that smirk handed me a 20$ bill and said

"Thank you for your service, Delilah. Oh and Keep the change" He said with a smile before they all headed out of the cafe. At first, I was a little confused about how he knew my name but then remembered it was on my uniform. The palm of my hand collided with my forehead with a laugh that followed.

On the drive to Lea's house, I couldn't stop thinking about that one man that stood out to me the most and it bugged the hell out of me and what's worse is that I didn't even get his name. I decided to try and forget about him for the night so that I could enjoy the surprise Lea had planned for me.

Once I drove up to her house I saw a bunch of cars so I knew it was a party. I walked up to the door and opened it but the house was pitch black.

"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled while turning on the lights. I screamed so loud I think the whole neighborhood heard me.

"Oh my god, I knew that there was gonna be a party with people but not this many," I said with a laugh. " All the music and people started dancing, it was so loud I could barely hear myself think.

"I hope you like it" Lea yelled from right beside me because everything was too loud but I was just able to hear her to the point it basically sounded like a whisper.

"Yes, I love it, Lea, this was too much" I yelled back to her with a smile.

"I know it's not your birthday yet but this party will be going on till 1:00 am tomorrow so technically you can party on your birthday too" she yelled to me.

The rest of the night was a blur, I got so drunk I threw up three times. It was now 1:15 am and I knew I was too drunk to drive so I decided to walk home. I thanked everyone at the party and started my walk back home. I was a little nervous about what my dad might do to me once I get home, not only cause I was out late but he will be able to tell I was drinking. Halfway home I started to feel very nauseous and my vision started getting blurry. Everything started going black and the last thing I remember was warm hands around my waist before I passed out.
