🥀Jamilla's POV🥀
"I'm gonna grab a drink, you want anything?" I asked. "I'm good" Dahlia replied. I made my way downstairs and grabbed a drink. *ping* *ping*.
I took a glance at who was texting me and saw Frankie's name😏My heart was pounding like CRAZY, it felt TOO natural for us un-acknowledging each other's feelings, so I never really gave my feelings for him a thought. I reached for my phone and texted him back
Before I could finish talking to Frankie, I heard someone sobbing, "Dahlia!" I called out. No reply. I ran upstairs leaving my phone on the kitchen counter, when I got to her room I saw her in tears on the bed. I knew what she was going through and I couldn't help but hold her tight in my arms
I throw my arms around her and place her head on my chest. "You're not in this alone anymore, I promise" I said reassuringly. "I can't deal with this anymore, I'm hurting" Dahlia cried.
"Should I call Carson?" I asked. "I- i really don't want to bother him" Dahlia snivelled. "Stop saying that Dahlia, you need all the Tender, Love and Care you can possibly get" I insisted. I quickly called Carson and he came right over
*ding dong* the doorbell went. I unlocked the door and welcomed Carson in. "Hey" Carson said breathing heavily. "Hey, she's upstairs" I replied. He rushed upstairs to Dahlia's room.
As Carson ran upstairs, I headed back to the kitchen. "Crap" I said. "I forgot to text Frankie back" I groaned. "Ughhhh, I forgot to text Frankie back" I groaned again.
I could feel the awkward tension through the phone, "I just asked Frankie out" I exclaimed 😳. After I pulled myself together I heard the front door unlock so I went to check
"Bye Jamilla, take care of her for me" Carson said with a sleepy voice. "I'll do everything I can" I replied reassuringly. And so he left and returned home.
