Chapter 1- New world

It was a lovely night, Jake had a campfire in the forest with his classmates, Eliana and Josh.
"Don't be so silly! I am one of the cutest girls , Eliana said with a pout while Josh scoffed " " Come here!" He said before he jumped on her and started tickling her while she was laughing, I was just standing there and looking at them, they are really cute together, I wish I had someone too, but sadly all the people I met were actually making fun of me because I am a silly boy, well almost all , Josh and Eliana were the only ones that actually understood my personality, but now they started being love birds and I am kind of annoyed by them sometimes but they are still my favorite couple, I got that deep in my thoughts that I didn't even realise that Josh was abruptly shaking me " Huh?" I said confused " Dude, you spaced out, are you ok?" He said , worry written on his face " Oh yeah..Im good.." I said then I patted his shoulder " I'm going to take a walk so you two can have some time together" I smiled then got up from the campfire and walked through the forest, small songs of the
crickets filled my ears with joy , the most exciting was the sound of the water that I was following from the start, at the end of the walk I discovered it was a small lake where the light of the big moon was reflected, I started following the path to the end of the lake, I couldn't stop like someone put a spell on me to continue until I'm done ,but when I was really close I observed something in the woods beside me, it caught me in silence that something was not right, I stopped and looked carefully until the earth beneath me started to disappear and then all went black
I woke up after some time that felt like an eternity and I looked around me I saw the campfire and I thought that maybe Josh and Eliana brought me back to the fireplace, I opened my mouth so I can call one of them, but instantly closed it when I saw a not so tall man with dark brown hair and a pair of black glasses, his eyes were clearly showing fear, hope and sadness, after I realized I was still starring at him he held out his hand to help me get up , I gently took his hand while he spoke " Hello, I'm Dwight, welcome to your new h-home" he stuttered when he said the last word, I was confused " H-Hi I'm Jake, nice to meet you, Dwight" He sent me a smile which calmed me down a bit, when I looked around I saw more people who were almost all same like Dwight their expressions were showing fear,hope and sadness more or less " Ok Jake, I know you are confused and you may have a lot of questions, but first let me explain " I nodded my head slowly as I listened ,curiosity captivated by Dwight's words " You are now in kind of a game, I don't know how you will understand this, probably you will see more when you will start one, so basically here you will go with three other people from here in a match, in the match you will start doing some generators because you are locked in an area and you want to escape so you need to do five generators so you can escape and come back here, to the campfire, the single problem is that while you are in the match with the other three survivors there will also be..uhm..a killer,that also can vary , the killer will try to chase you and hunt you down, then put you on the hook 3 times, the third time you are on the hook you die and come back here again , but you will be hurt , thats the game we play for ever and ever" I can see the sadness in his eyes and I give him a smile even if what he told me terrified me " Well it is scary..but as you said there's nothing we can do, could you please teach me how to play?" He looked at me shocked " You really aren't going to yell at me?" I looked at him confused and shack my head " All the survivors kind of find me annoying and...I thought you too" My eyes went wide as I finally saw that Dwight has the kind of personality I have , I hugged him and I told him that actually I like talking with him and smiled wide
