Chapter 8: The Silent Storm

 He woke from his slumber. He looked around and saw Otto sitting there.

"I see you are awake."

"What happened?"

"I stopped the poison from turning your body from a weapon."

The memory of Kevin saving him, and Mars sparing him flooded his mind.

"I'm in his debt how."

Otto chuckled.

"He's waiting for you in the training room."

"Okay."

"He going give you a new weapon, since guns aren't your thing."

He ignored Otto and walked out the recovery room.

He saw Kevin.

"Follow me."

He nodded and followed Kevin.

"Is he here?"

"You catch on quickly."

"What does he want with me?"

"You will see when we get there."

They entered the training room.

Kevin left the two boys alone.

"Why are you doing this? I tried to kill you."

Mars chuckled coldly.

"You have a purpose."

"What do you mean?"

"I need you for find someone."

"Who?"

"I tell you after you train with your new weapon."

Mars show the boy before him.

"It's a bow." The male said

"You can be more lethal with it."

"You have faith in me?"

Mars smiled.

"I do. I'm not going do what Derek did to you."

The boy sat there. He believes the Male Herrscher.

"Alright."

"Let's train."

He opened his eyes after remembering what Mars did for him.

He smiled when he saw his target.

He began to follow her.

She stopped.

"Why are you following me?"

"My boss sent me to recruit you."

"Who?"

"You find out later."

He took aim at the girl.

"Tell me what's your name?" The girl asked

"Fang the Silent Storm."

The girl chuckled.

"Well Fang. I see you know Yae Village pretty well."

"My boss taught me."

"I see."

The white haired girl pulled out her pistols.

Fang smirked and summoned zombie archers.

"What are you the girl asked?"

"You will find out."

The archers fired, but the girl easily dodged it.

She smiled and took out a masked.

"It's my time."

She jumped and hit Fang from all different directions.

Fang slid back, but regained his footing.

"T-that was a good attack."

"I see you fight like my old friend."

The boy smiled.

"Well now. Maybe you are catching on."

Fang jumped in the air. A line of arrows appeared, and more zombie archers appeared.

"You can't escaped this."

The girl was shocked.

The arrows fired, and Fang heard the girl scream out in pain.

He landed back on the ground.

"Sorry I went over board. I shouldn't have used that move."

The girl weakly glared at him.

"Let me help you, Kallen."

She gritted her teeth and aimed her gun.

Kallen pulled the trigger.
