Chapter 21: I Never Thought I Would Be This Happy

(Echo's Pov)

I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shining through the bedroom window. I sighed and groaned as I turned the other way just wanting nothing more than to go back to sleep. I shivered a little feeling a bit of a breeze come through the window.

I pulled the covers closer to me and wanted to cuddle closer to Morty but I looked seeing he wasn't there which made me sigh a bit assuming he was either getting me coffee or with the others. I felt too lazy and too tired to move so I didn't and just lied there in the peaceful silence.

I heard the bedroom door creek open as the fresh smell of coffee and what smelled like pancakes filled my nostrils and made my stomach growl a bit. I didn't open my eyes as I heard what sounded like a tray being set down on the nightstand. I felt the bed dip and felt Morty brush a strand of hair out of my face before gently pampering my face with kisses to wake me up.

I giggled and smiled softly as I fluttered my eyes open to see Morty. He smiled and caressed my cheek "Morning darling" He whispered, I smiled "Morning" I whispered groggily, he smiled "How'd you sleep?" he asked, I smiled and nodded "good" I whispered, he smiled "That's good. I made you breakfast. I assume you can't walk so I decided to just bring breakfast to you" He said,

My eyes widen as I remembered the events of last night which made me blush and smile shyly. I looked down seeing I was still naked and COVERED in purple marks which made me laugh a bit "well today is going to go great" I said sarcastically, Morty laughed "at least most are coverable" He whispered,

I chuckled and rolled my eyes as I looked around for something to wear which made Morty grab one of his hoodies from his bag and hand it to me which made me thank him as I sat up and slid it on. Morty set the tray on my lap and sat next to me which made me smile softly "This is very sweet Morty thank you" I said,

He smiled and kissed my head "anything for you my darling" He whispered which made me smile and sip my coffee as we sat in silence. I couldn't help but think of everything's that happened...I mean never in a million years did I ever think I'd be here let alone just have everything I have...

I mean not only do I have the best pokemon in the world but I have the most loving and caring friends ever and the bestest boyfriend a girl can ever ask for I mean what else could be better than this? I smiled softly as Morty chuckled a little "What's on your mind darling?" he asked, I looked at him and smiled "I never thought I'd ever be this happy and I can't thank you enough for everything Morty" I said,

He smiled a bit bashfully and pecked my lips "you deserve the entire world my darling. You deserve it all" he whispered and pressed his forehead against mine which made me smile softly and feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside and just feel so much love than I've never had before and I just can't believe this is my life now because there is absolutely nowhere else that I'd rather be....because right here is my happiness and my everything and right here is my home...
