12- I Thought it was Over

"Wait you can't be serious" Touya said. Sam just nodded and Touya just looked surprised as he didn't know what to say. "When will that even happen?" "Soon. Very soon my lovely siren. You should get back home now. It's getting late" Sam said silently as they put a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah I guess so. I'll see you around" "Indeed you will Touya" with that he got up and walked off. Sam smiled as he walked away. "He was a good choice"

Touya made his way home but looking normal instead. Once he got there, he stepped towards the door and opened it to reveal his family sitting at the table. They looked over at him with expressions to let him know they're sorry. "Whatever you're gonna say just say it now" Touya said quietly as he waited. No one said a word so he nodded and walked up the steps to his room

He shut his door and sighed. Touya slid down his door, sitting there with a distressed look on his face. He thought about what Sam told him. He thought about the time he had left to do what has to be done. He smiled a second later as an idea came to him. "I'll just drown him when this happens. He'll be in to much of a daze to even realize what's going on" he chuckled to himself and got up, grabbing his computer and turning on his music

After awhile a knock was heard on his door. He had his headphones in, blasting the music in his ears to drown everything out. When his family didn't get a response, Rei opened the door slowly and looked through. She nodded as the door was open all the way. Rei turned his light on since the only light in his room was coming from his computer. "Touya sweetheart can we talk to you please?" She said. He looked at her and took out his headphones while he paused his music which was heard by his family when they walked in. "What did you say?" he asked

"I just wanted to know if we could talk to you" "I guess so" he said as he closed his computer and put it to the side. "Sit down. All of you" he pointed to his floor so they listened and sat down. "Close my door please" Enji turned around and shut his door gently. "So what did you wanna talk about" he said. "About this morning. We are truly sorry. We didn't think about what we were saying or even knew you were standing there listening. I just want you to know that we didn't mean a word we said" Rei explained

"We also thought about what Sam said. They were right" Touya nodded. "They always are. But you also gotta remember that even though I am what I am now, nothing will change. You may be scared of me but I can't do anything about that. I'm sorry if I do scare you sometimes though. But there is also something else but I can't say" they got a bit confused but left it alone anyway

"We just wanted to say that we're sorry. I know it's not enough for you to forgive us so easily but at least think about forgiving us. Please" Fuyumi said. Touya shrugged and leaned against the wall. "Maybe you should have thought about it before you even said it" he said making eye contact with them. They stayed quiet and looked at each other then back at Touya

"Listen how about we go out tomorrow. Maybe to a store to get you guys some clothes then get something to eat while we're out. How does that sound?" Enji asked. Touya crossed his arms and shrugged yet again. "I guess" "Good. It's getting late though so say goodnight to your brother and head off to bed" Enji said as him and Rei got up and left, closing the door behind them. "I guess we'll go to bed now. Goodnight Touya, sleep well" Fuyumi said as she gave him a quick hug and left

"Goodnight bro" Natsuo did the same thing leaving only Shoto and Touya alone. "Are you gonna leave so I can turn my light off and sleep?" Touya asked. "Not yet" Shoto got up and sat down on the bed. "What's the thing you can't mention?" he asked in his normal tone of voice. "None of your business now out" Touya said pointing to his door. "Ok goodnight" "Yeah goodnight" with that he left, turning his light off and closing the door

Touya put his computer back on his desk while putting his headphones on top and pulled his covers over him, finally getting some sleep
