Dazai - Sick Leave

"Ah, I love being sick"

Perhaps it's just one of these days where suddenly, out of no where you got sick. Not knowing the cause nor why it happened. And this, is what happened to our man Dazai

He woke up with the sunlight hitting his face, interrupting him from his uncomfortable sleep, what's worse is that the heavy and uncomfy feealing didn't dissappear even after waking up

He immediately groaned as he cover his eyes with his arms, he knows he's sick. And dazai, for one hates this feeling at all

As much as he's a suicidal maniac, being sick is not one of the options. He hates having to go through pain before actually dying. Which might be the reason as to why he is still alive today, he have't found the perfect suicide method that involves no pain

He shifts in his bed, in hopes to ease the pain his body is feeling, he's disgusted by the sweat forming in his body even amidst of him having chills which caused him to sneeze from time to time

But sickness is not big feat for dazai, even back in the mafia, he would only gather his composure in a couple of hours before proceeding to work, acting his very best as if nothing's happening to him

He intended to do the same in the present too, after all he has no idea how to take care of himself, he just do his usual routine until he realizes that the sickness is long gone

He sat up but was immediately welcomed by a panging pain in the forehead, he cursed at this, annoyed as he massaged his temples to ease the pain

He kept on muttering endless curses throughout as he readied himself to work while battling with his body's condition

Even after wearing his coat he still feels the chills in his body, and the sweats gathering in his forehead

He was about to go when suddenly a knock was heard on the door

He was puzzled, who and why would they visit him in this time and place? And how did they know about his location

He readied himself as the the person knocked the door once again, he walked nearer as he slowly held the doorknob

Another knock was heard before he immediately opened the door and was ready to attack with his fist

But was immediately stopped by a hand grabbing his arm, blocking his attack

"And what the hell do you think are you doing? Is this how people repay each other these days?" the person said, clearly annoyed

Dazai was surprised, he didn't expect to see the her in front of his apartment

"Wha- what are you doing here?" he asked, still surprised by the situation

The irked girl let go of dazai's arms as she crossed her arms before readying herself to reprimand the man in front of her

"What am I doing here? That's not the question here, what are YOU doing here?"
