~Continuing at the MAMAMOO dorm~

After laughing till she probably formed a 12-pack, Moonbyul sent a quick text to Jin: "😂😂 tell Jimin-ah she's mine"

Moonbyul looked up from her typing to see Hwasa sitting down on the couch, tilting her head back in exhaustion after checking her phone. She smiled; she knew their maknae had worked immensely hard today.

Attempting to cheer her up, "Hyejin-ah, check this out." Hwasa's face darkened after seeing her performance, but she quickly covered it with a bright, light-hearted laugh as she saw Jimin's reaction to her turn on stage.

"Ah, that's so cute!" Hwasa exclaimed. "Who sent you that? Jin oppa? Tell him BTS of course killed it!"

"...too."

"What?" Hwasa asked as she got up from the sofa to head to her dorm room.

"They killed it too. Because I know for a fact you also lit up that stage brighter than every firework there. I'm so beyond proud of you Hyejin-ah." Moonbyul showed her the biggest smile she could muster to convey even a tenth of the pride and happiness she felt for her younger sister.

She wanted to tell her that there was no need to hide her troubles, but Hyejin always insisted on fighting her own hurricanes and Byul worried the floods were overwhelmingly drowning her.

Hyejin, staying true to her solo-fighting demeanor, returned a weak smile, and turned into her room for the night.

The moment she stepped foot in her dark bedroom, her back fell on the bed with a loud thud. While her empty eyes stared up at the ceiling in a doll-like manner, her mind spun with a million thoughts tornadoing at impossible speeds.

Is it bad that I want everything to end when that's the last luxury I have? Is my drive and passion really just piloted by a ticking time bomb of limited possibility? Why did he have to tell me
