Help

Harry had made his way back to his room he shared with ron eyes still red he jumped into his bed

He thought about what Blaise and Pansy had said to him

Was he being selfish?

He had never asked draco if he needed help he had just done it.

"God Potter I don't want to be subject to your hero complex!" Draco cried he had burns on his face after Harry had saved him from the room of requirements

"You can't just be thankful that I saved your life?" Harry yelled back in frustration

"You don't think I'm not grateful!? Merlin I literally now owe my life to you! You didn't need to save I didn't ask for it I didn't want you to!" Draco cried Harry swallowed thickly as he watched Draco cry

"I didn't want to live. I wanted to die in that moment so I wouldn't have to deal with what's to come." Draco looked up at Harry pain was to clear in his eyes

"I don't want to watch you die." Draco weeped as he ran to Harry hugging him tightly and for the first time Harry realized in what situation he was in

He was going to die Voldemort was going to kill him and everyone was going to watch

"I'll win" Harry said more to himself than to Draco

"You don't know that" Draco said back stepping away from Harry and wiping his eyes

"When the time comes to pick between you or him-" Draco said looking away from Harry

"- I won't have a choice"

Harry snapped out of his memory as he heard Ron yelling his name

"Harry! What are you doing here? I thought you were going to see Draco?" Ron said sitting on the edge of Harry's bed and looking at his friend

"Hey are you crying? Wait. What happened? Did he hurt you?" Ron said angrily

"No Ron just leave me alone." Harry said into his pillow

"Oh" Ron replied awkwardly

"Well y'know you can always talk to me about it Harry" Ron said with a smile patting Harry's back

"I doubt you actually wanna know what happened" Harry said sarcastically while sniffling

"Of course I do mate!" Ron defended

"Come on Ron you were against my crush on Draco since the beginning!" Harry yelled and Ron looked away

"Yeah I was." Ron said and Harry's eyes grew wide

"Harry you want to know the real reason I hated the idea in the first place" Ron said as Harry sat up

"I hated the idea of you dating a death eater" Ron said while furrowing his brows

"That and it was hard to forget everything he had done to us over our years at school even beyond that it was hard for me to let you look in his direction when I knew he had worked with Voldemort." Ron looked at Harry who bit his lip

"What made you change your mind?" Harry asked

"Not sure if I have." Ron laughed dryly

"I think seeing you just melt at the sight of him made a big difference if you were happy why should I try to take that away from you know?" Ron smiled and looked away while scratching the back of his head

"I also couldn't defend a lot of those reason after I realized Uh my feelings for blaise" Ron said blushing softly. Harry smiled at Ron softly

"Okay I'll tell you what happened but after what you said I'm not as upset anymore." Harry said leaning onto Ron

"Draco is planning to break up with me"

"What!?"

"Harry are you sure you want to do this?" Hermione asked as she helped Harry prepare for his interview

"Yeah." Harry said softly

"What if he doesn't want the help?" Hermione asked

"He doesn't" Harry smiled softly
