"Are you still mad at me?"

Cedric looked up from his textbook to the sight of Allegra's puppy dog eyes.

He could never say no to that face.

He sighed. "I was never mad at you to begin with."

Allegra looked incredulous. "You haven't spoken to me in days."

"Of course I have! At breakfast, between class-"

"Barely, only because we pass by one another."

"And I've been really busy," he said. "It's the first week of school. All my classes are N.E.W.T level, Prefect duties. Not to mention the only class we have together is this class," he enunciated, gesturing around the drafty Arithmancy classroom.

Allegra pouted. "Is it too late to put you into Gryffindor so I can see you more often?"

"Is it too late to put you into Hufflepuff?"

She chuckled softly. "We saw two days ago that I am not fit to be a Puff." She watched in amusement as Cedric undid his Hufflepuff tie and loosely tied it around her collar.

"I beg to differ."

She giggled peeking down at the yellow tie. Then her nose crinkled, and her head tilted to the side.

"Yellow is not my color."

"That's one woman's opinion."

She looked up at him. "You're so full of it. I-I could be wearing a potato sack and you'd still think I'm...I'm..."

"Gorgeous?" He quipped, a roughish smirk pulling at his lips. "Beautiful? Sexy? Absolutely ravish-"

"Shush!" She hissed, slapping her hands over his mouth when she realized people around them were starting to stare.

Cedric's face was lit up amusedly and she took her hands off. "It's so cute that we've been dating for almost nine months and you still blush as easily as when we first started dating."

"You know what you're doing you cocky bastard," she grumbled. Cedric was a confident person. That's just the way he'd always been. He was raised with parents who couldn't have been any more loving and supportive. He was given the esteemed title of Prefect and Quidditch Captain which made many people look up to him. Not to mention his kindness and devastatingly good looks had people from all four Houses flocking toward him.

And Allegra realized, too, that this confidence really soared when it was just the two of them: when it came to intimacy. The boy knew exactly what to say to make her flustered.

"You know you love me," Cedric teased.

Allegra rolled her eyes. "And my point was proven. Anyways, we really- or, I really need to finish these charts so I can work on Transfiguration."
