Hull and cut the strawberries in half before popping them into a large jug. Lightly crush the sprigs of thyme to release their oil and fragrance before adding them to the jug with the strawberries. Add cold water and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours to infuse. Serve with sprigs of thyme, if desired.
Tip:
There are many varieties of thyme to choose from. Try using lemon thyme for a change of flavor.
