I see Pikachu and Piplup as best friends, even though at certain points of the anime, I think Piplup might have a tiny crush on Pikachu. I think Piplup cried at the end of the Diamond and Pearl series when Ash, Pikachu, and Brock went back to Kanto. I'm not sure. It's been awhile since I seen the episode. Anyways, remember that one episode where that random character's experiment made electric types and water types attracted to one another and Pikachu and Piplup were inseparable?
