It was 2 am and I woke up from a nightmare like every night I went to the window and I was looking at the city of New York until the sun started to rise that's when I realized that I had to get up before Nicole started yelling to us for getting up late since at 5:30 am we have to start cleaning the house in case a couple decides to visit to adopt everyone thinks that being the smallest they would adopt us first well that is not true since people notice too much in the physical stuff

ava and I since we have been all our lives in foster homes where they beat us we are very small for our age and we are very skinny so people do not adopt us, they only look at us with a sad face and then they adopt another child

Ava always acts like my big sister since they always moved us from the foster homes together since I came to the system she always tries to protect me when Jack or Nicole want to hit me but she could not avoid it in fact when she hide or deffend me they ended up beating her more

we reached a point where she and I already lost hope of being adopted since we are the lost case, the children that nobody wants

on my birthday on August 16 she told me that at night i didnt put my pajamas on and at 11 pm she took me by the hand and I approach the window the apartment is on the first floor so we could go out the window without getting hurt when we left she took me to the biggest park that I had ever been to and she said "welcome to central park happy birthday and y/n" then She hugged me and we went walking for an hour and a half then she told me it was time to get back 'home'. Ava was going a little further as she walks faster when we were leaving the park I collided with someone since i  was not looking where i was going "sorry I was not seeing where i was going "I said" hello little one "she said then I looked at her and answered" h-hello "after that ava started screaming "y/n hurry up if Nicole and Jack realize that we are out we will be in a lot of trouble" after she said that i said "bye" to the lady with whom I had collided and I started to run towards where Ava was when we got to the apartment Jack and Nicole were waiting for us" WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU TWO BEEN ALL THIS TIME "Jack yelled "i-i took y/n to c-c-central park for h-her birthday "ava replied after she said that I saw how Jack and Nicole's expression changed they grabbed my wrist and locked ava in the room and took me to the basement where they beat me until I fainted after that I woke up in my room and the twins had a worried expression on their faces "what happened?" I asked "y/n Nicole and Jack hit you so hard you fainted" Brian said

after he said that Nicole started yell that we had to start cleaning at that moment I realized that I couldn't do it anymore and that I had to escape from there
