9: Worthy-Thor Odinson

"Was this your idea?"
"Of course it was my idea. No one else on the whole team is this fun."
"I'm fun!"
"Sure you are, Buck."
It had been your idea to take some of the team over to Connecticut for a little R&R. But the twist was, you wanted to take an RV and stay in the extremely small town of Bantam. You had scored a campsite for a week and you were forcing them to come with you. Tony was outraged that you made plans without him. Bucky was outraged that you thought he wasn't fun.
"I am fun! I just don't want to go with you." Bucky argues.
"Why?" You whine.
"Because, this," he waves his arm motioning to the huge RV you rented, "is not my idea of fun."
"It has a fully stocked mini fridge," you mumble.
"I'm in!" Tony says.
"Of course you are. Please, Buck."
"Fine, but only if Steve is going."
"Your boyfriend was the first to agree to go."
"He's not my boyfriend."
"Sure."

Sooner or later, you convince enough people to come with you; Steve, Tony, Bucky, Natasha, Wanda, and Thor. As you and Wanda pack up the food, the others are arguing about where they want to sleep.
"I want top bunk!" Tony yells.
"You could never get up there, old man," Steve agues back.
"You're older than me!"
"Not really."
"Whatever, Capsicle."
Spoiler alert: Tony did not get the top bunk, Natasha did. And Thor got the bottom bunk. Tony is sleeping on the pull out bed, Bucky on the dinette that turns into a bed, Steve on the loft, and you and Wanda sharing the queen bed in the back.
"Who's going to drive this thing?" Steve asks. "I certainly can't."
"I am!" You say, excitedly. Tony raises his eyebrows at you.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yeah, Tony. I'm sure."
"Well, if you need anything, I equipped it with JARVIS last night."
"TONY! IT'S A RENTAL!"
"I"LL TAKE IT OUT WHEN WE GET BACK! JESUS!"

The next morning, you wake up excited to leave. It was only a two and a half hour drive, but you wanted to get there early. You go from room to room waking everyone up. You pop into Wanda's room first.
"Good morning, y/n," The Vision says quietly as you walk in.
"Morning, Viz," you say. "Could you wake up Wanda please?"
"Of course. I hope you all have a nice trip."
"Thank you." You leave Wanda's room, knocking at the door of Natasha's room.
"It's open," Natasha says. You walk in, sitting backwards in a chair.
"Morning, Nat."
"Morning, y/n."
"Are you ready?"
"Always."
"Great, I'm going to go wake up the guys now."
You leave Natasha's room, heading up another level to Tony's room. You pound mercilessly on the door, shouting for Tony to get up.  You heard grumbles from inside and knew he was awake. You wake up Bucky next, and Steve is already awake, like Nat. Lastly you go to wake up Thor. You knock lightly on the door and only hear slight snores. You open the door and see the curtains closed and the room still dark. Mjolnir sits on a chair near the door. You've always wondered if you were worthy. You glance back at Thor to make sure he's still asleep. Mentally preparing yourself, you step up to the chair, legs spread a little. You wrap one hand around the base of the hammer, then the other. You take a deep breath in, then slowly exhale.
You start to pull, the hammer feeling heavy.
You become slightly discouraged.
You pull harder.
You gasp as the hammer lifts up slightly and drop it back onto the chair.
It clatters, waking Thor.
"Huh? What? Y/n?" He says.
"Sorry. We need to get going," you say nervously, dropping your gaze and turning to leave.
"Y/n," he says deeply. You stop. "Did you just lift my hammer?"
You turn around, taking deep breaths. Thor looks at you with a slightly scared look.
"Yes," you breathe out. He stands and you take a step back, flush against the door.
"I always knew you were worthy. I felt it the minute I met you. There was just something about you."
"You're not mad?" He lets out a chuckle.
"Of course not, my dear. Why would I be mad when I'm in love with you?" His face pales and you gasp.
"You what?"
"I said that out loud, didn't I?"
"You love me?"
"Can you blame me? You're so kind and caring. And the fact that you are absolutely beautiful doesn't help anything." You blush furiously and look down at your hands. He steps up to you and lifts your chin with his fingertips. "You are so beautiful."
"Thor, I-. I don't know what to say."
"Don't say anything." He leans forward and your eyes flutter closed. His warm breath dances across your lips for a second until you feel his soft lips connect with yours. He pushes you harder up against the door, not hard enough to hurt you, but hard enough to turn you on. You put both hands up to the sides of his face and pull him down to you. He puts his hands on your waist, like he's trying to eliminate any atoms of air keeping you apart. He pulls you back until the two of you fall onto his bed. You giggle as he helps you straddle his lap. You keep your hands on his face, pulling his head up to meet yours. His hands run up and down your back, settling on the top of your butt. You make out for a few more minutes, hands roaming, but nothing happening.
"We should go," you say, finally pulling away, your lips chapped.
"Of course."
You get outside and everyone is finding somewhere to sit and packing away gear.
"Welcome Miss y/l/n, and King Odinson," JARVIS's voice greets you.
"What took you guys so long?" Natasha asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Thor is so hard to wake up."
"Sure."
You stand outside trying to fit everything into the outside compartments. The last compartment is full of weapons just in case, and there was only a little bit of room left. You go back inside to check if there are any more weapons left that will fit. You walk in and see Thor talking to Tony and Steve at the table and Mjolnir sitting there next to Thor. It'll fit perfectly.
"Hey boys!" You greet. Turning to Thor, you say, "Hey, I have a little room left in the weapons compartment, and I think Mjolnir will fit there."
"Ok, sure," he says. He picks up the hammer and stands, looking like he's going to take it out there, but then hands it to you and you just walk off with the stunned faces of Tony and Steve staring at your back.
"Did she just-?' Tony says, baffled.
"She's worthy," Thor says, very proud.
