Why is he concerned?

It was evening,

Almost everyone had left as it was a bad weather,

Preeta was still working on some stuff,

Preeta - wuff...almost done...bas ye sir ke cabin me rakhdu!

She took the files and went to Karan's cabin,she opened the door without knocking as she thought he must have left but to her shock he was still there, sitting on his chair,

He startled as she opened the door,she looked at him shocked,

Preeta - I...I am sorry sir...mujhe laga aap chale gaye isiliye knock nahi kiya...mai...knock krke aati hu!

She turned to go but stopped listening him,

Karan - wait!turn!(she turned) koi jarurat nahi hai!its ok!come!

Preeta nodded slightly and went to him,

Preeta - sir ye files....

Karan - I told you to call me Karan!

Preeta - sorry...wo...(looking here and there)

Karan - go on...kya keh rahi thi!(looking at her)

Preeta - ye files complete hogyi hai!to bas aapko dene aayi thi!

Karan nodded and asked her to keep the files on table,she moved towards the table,

Her leg got stuck by carpet,she fell with the files on floor,Karan stood with jerk and went towards her tensely,

Karan - are you okay?tumhe lagi to nahi?(panicking)

Preeta - I..I am sorry...wo glti se gir gayi saari files...mai abhi utha deti hu...wo...

Karan - Preeta....

Preeta - really sorry sir..I know mujhe first day pe hi galtiyaan nahi honi chahiye but wo glti se...(he tries to say) par aap please mujhpe gussa mat kijiyega...(he again tries to say) aur mujhe job se bhi mat nikaaliyega please...aur...wo...

He keep his finger on lips,

Karan - shhhh!!!

She looks at him surprised while he was lost in her cute face,she for a second too gets lost in his eyes,his intense gaze was making her nervous,

She tries to say but was nervous as his finger was on her lips,

He looked at nervous face and came back to senses,

Karan(removing his finger) - s...sorry wo tum chup hi nahi ho rahi thi to...maine...

Preeta nodded,

Preeta - sorry sir wo ye files....

Karan - Preeta...itna panic kyu kar rahi ho itni choti baat par...mai khaa nahi jaaunga tumhe! it's ok!glti se gir gayi!

Preeta looks down and nodded,

Karan - tumhe lagi to nahi?

Preeta nodded in no,

Both collected the files and stood,he took files from her hand,

His eyes went on her hand where a slight cut was formed because of falling,

He took her hand in his hand,she startled,

Karan - tum...tumhe chot lagi hai!dekho khoon bhi aa raha hai!

Preeta looked at her hand,where just a slight cut was there and blood stain was there only a little,not even flowing,

But still his face looked so worried,
