My heart raced, the sounds of the orchestra felt dizzying. Violins pierced my ears. All I saw was
Sukuna's back. I had no authority, no say in where I was going or what he would do to me.

We left through one of the side doors into a secluded hallway. He led me up a spiral stair case. Higher and higher until the roaring party disappeared from the air.

"Sukuna! Hey! Let me go." I tried to yank my hand away but my efforts were futile. I couldn't even move my fingers an inch.

I banged on his back with my free hand, it was meaningless.

We reached the highest point. Another hall at the school's apex. He swung open a door which bridged the roof and the hall with a little staircase.

"Come on." He grumbled, pulling me into the narrow pass and up the stairs. With the flick of his hand, the door locked by itself.

We were blanketed by the night sky. It felt like the two of us were the only people in the city, that alone, was terrifying.

He could kill me up here.

The roof was guarded by a janky medal railing, that was about it. The air was dry and cold, quite unwelcoming. Although, you could see the lights from the city up there, the only redeeming quality.

Sukuna let go of my hand and leaned his elbows on the railing and gestured for me to do the same. Making a little 'come hither' motion with his fingers.

I walked over and stood beside him.

"Why did you bring me here Sukuna?"

He picked a wine bottle from the box beside him and took a swig, "Ahh, I can't acquire your company?" His black marks had appeared on his face once again. He must've been able to make them disappear somehow while in public.

"I know you're not that much of a simple man."

"Is that so?" He chuckled, "Want a drink?"

"I don't want to drink around you." I said.

"Hm, you don't trust yourself around me?"

"No, I just don't trust you."

"That's pitiful. You humans, you're so afraid to act on your own desires because of the presence of someone else. Sounds like a pretty pathetic life."

"It's called self respect."

"Self bondage."

"We agree to disagree." I grimaced.

Sukuna placed the bottle in my hands, "Here take it. Now it's in your lap. I promise I won't touch you."

I gave him a glare.

"Go on, just take a sip. Enjoy yourself."

I pressed my lips against the rim and quickly tasted the wine, handing it back to him. It was surprisingly, good.

"It's not bad." I murmured.

"Then I guess this wine is something we can agree on."

"Don't get ahead of yourself."

"What? Are you gonna slow me down y/n." He laughed, looking straight ahead into the night. His chuckle had a fine rasp, alcohol latent on his breath.

My purse was vibrating with messages from my phone. Most likely Megumi and Gojo, I unzipped it and reached inside when sukana quickly said. "Don't answer that."

I gulped, standing there with my hand frozen. I slowly zipped the bag

"You're the only person at this party I can talk to. Well, the only person who won't try and kill me." He said.
