It's thurstday which means we only had 3 hours of class. Lira and i were normally going to hang out with Miles and Noah, but leader Francis is making an announcement this aftenoon and he wants every angel there. I wanted to talk to Miles about the almost kissing accident today but i geuss that's going to be another day.
School was boring but i kept thinking about the announcement. What could he possibly want to say that is so important?
When i came home My dad and lucy were there. "Hi, Kaya. Get ready we are going to the announcement in 30 mintues." I nodded at my dad and went straight upstairs. I changed clothes in just a simple blue jeans and a white long sleeves shirt.
The shirt was my mothers and i almost never wear it. I am scared i'll ruin it or something. I texted with Lira for a couple minutes and i asked her if she knew anything about this announcement. She didn't, she even asked her parents but even them didn't know what this was going to be about.
I went downstairs and i recieved a devilish smile from Lucy. I ignored her and sat down at the table staring at my phone. I saw a message from Miles and immidiately opened it.
Miles: Hey, i know you said you have that announcement today but i need to talk to you about something.
My brows curved into a confused expression.
Kaya: Does it have to be now?
Miles: No, i just need to be sure of something.
Kaya: Oh, okay.
Miles: So can you call or text me when you can?
Kaya: Yeah, ofcourse. I'm going to the announcement now i'll call you later.
Miles: okay, great.
I put the phone down and my dad's voice immidiately interupted my thoughts. "Okay, come on." He took his car keys and we left. I geuss Lucy is an angel too, great. (Note the sarcasm)
The whole time in the car we were silent. I stared out the window and up the sky. When we reached the building, my dad jumped out making me and Lucy step out too. I look around and see so many more angels arriving. I don't see any of my friends though.
My dad takes Lucy's hand and walk towards the doors with me right behind them. When we step inside i surge the room for people i know. It's a big room with white walls and black chairs. My eyes land on Lira and her parents. I wave at them and all wave back. I go sit next to my dad and Lucy on his other side. When i see Louis sitting he smiles at me and i smile and wave back.
I smile at a lot of more people who pass until my father said i could go sit with my friends if i wanted too. So i did.
I went to sit next to Bryce and Lira. Louis tapped his finger on my shoulder from behind me and i looked back. He leaned in my ear to whisper something. "You still have to explain some stuff to me." "Like what?" "Like me telling your dad you slept over at my house." He said with a smirk. "Fine. After the announcement?" I asked and he nodded leaning back again.
