Chapter 20 Mission gone both ways

sorry, these are taking forever ;-; been super busy recently but i will try to get some more chapters out till it's the end of the story

This is going to be a very long chapter so have a snack and a drink with you BE PREPARED FOR EMOTIONAL PARTS AND ENJOY THE SHOW

(some talking dialog has been changed around due to request and there might some sensitive parts so when they come up feel free to skip! majority of this chapter will most likely not make sense because i have lost full memory of what i wrote in the other chapters so just bare with me)

(y/ns POV)

It was the next day, the day of the mission, i got up and went to the bathroom to change and get ready for the day, after that i headed downstairs to make some breakfast for me and Ranboo.

i got stuff out of the fridge and started to make some eggs and bacon, an original breakfast, as i was mixing the eggs with a little bit of milk in a bowl, i poured it into the pan and started to stir is around, scrambled eggs are the best eggs, well in my opinion

i cooked the bacon in a separate pan and as that was sizzling i put the eggs that now were done onto two plates, one for me, one for Ranboo, speaking of Ranboo, i heard footsteps coming from the stairs, the smell of the breakfast was strong so i wouldn't be surprised

"good-morning!" i said as he walks into the kitchen

 "morning, i smelt something nice so i came down here" Ranboo said walking into the kitchen

Not going to lie it did smell nice, i finished the food and set it onto plates, as we ate i got a call from Wilbur, i swallowed a piece of egg and answered the call

Y/n -> "hello?"

Wilbur -> "hey y/n, are you ready for the mission today? 

Y/n -> "yep, I'm a bit nervous but I'm ready"

Wilbur -> "everything will be ok, we are going to make sure no one will touch you, you'll be safe as long as your with one of us the entire time"

"thanks, Wilbur, i hope everything goes as planned"

after a bit of talking, we hung up and i went to put my plate in the sink to get cleaned later. i headed back upstairs to get the rest of myself ready for today. i put my hair up in a pony tail but left some front pieces out over the side of my face.

i head back downstairs and open a door to a closet that contains all my shoes and grab the ones I'm able to run in but also look stylish to my outfit, these were a gift given to me on my birthday a year or two ago, they are my favorite and now's a great time to use 'em, 'i will probably regret this but things happening unexpectedly, learned from that' 

Y/n -> "Hey Ranboo are you ready!?"

i shouted, he wasn't down stairs anymore so i would think he went up, i hear footsteps coming down and who appeared by them was Ranboo.

Ranboo -> "yea, im kinda scared though what if something goes wrong and one of us dies i dont know what to expect i've never done this before"

Y/n  -> "everything will be just fine Ranboo, no one will die we will make sure of that!"

Ranboo nods and he got his shoes on and we left the house, i locked the door behind me and we both got into my car, i started driving to the base, (i have no fucking clue what im saying here ;-;) Ranboo had stayed quiet the whole ride their staring out the window looking at the houses and roads
