Yesterday she ate,
That extra piece of cake.
Today and tomorrow,
She'll eat nothing.
Last week, she ate
Five chocolate bars
And then she threw up
Everything including her esteem.
A month ago she ate
A second serving at dinner
And then she fasted for six days.
Three months ago,
She had a pint of ice cream
And then didn't have dessert
For the next two weeks.
Six months ago,
Her mother told her to go on a diet
And she said "okay"
But didn't eat at all.
A year ago she was bullied for her size.
She cried every night
And avoided making friends.
Two years ago,
Her dad wouldn't let her eat cake
On her birthday.
She snuck it the day after
And her father yelled at her.
Three years ago,
She was happy of who she was
But no one else
Was happy for her.
