Miriku Kuran: The Lost Child

New friends are made

  Keiko never realized that she would have a close frienndship with Zero. Before becoming friends with Zero , Keiko had  managed to meet Kaname. It was during the time where there was a funeral where both Juri and Haruka Kuran were honored(commemorated) for their lives. Shizuka wasn't quite sure of letting Keiko go to the funeral due to worries of the girl suddenly remembering her memories. In spite of that she decided to let Keiko go. With that she made Keiko dress a beautiful black dress that had gems that shined the colors of sapphire and red ruby when exposed to the moonlight. When Keiko was at the funeral, she decided that she needed fresh air and went to the balcony.

Keiko's mind

Hmm why does this atmosphere seem very familiar. It doesn't make any sense. It's as if this is my home and I was taken away from here.
At that instant tears had rolled down her cheeks as if it hurt her mentally whenever Keiko tried many attempts in remembering who she truly was.

While Keiko was getting fresh air on the balcony , she heard someone approach her. It seemed a boy of brown hair with eyes that one could admire. He then spoke " Um...pardon me for interrupting but who are you. I haven't seen you before." At that instant Keiko turned around to see the boy was staring at her in admiration. She then replied " Oh well you see... I'm Keiko. Its probably best if you don't know my last name. I rarely leave my households to attend events like these so that must be why you haven't seen me recently. By the way what is your name."

The boy turned to face the moon where you could see his eyes shine. He then replied" My name is Kuran.... Kaname Kuran. It is a pleasure to meet you Keiko."
At that moment Keiko seemed to blush a bit since it was her first time being greeted like this.

"Well I guess it is almost time to go home.I ...... I.... Um I had a great time talking with you Kaname Kuran. I'd better start heading to the gates."

Keiko then smiled at Kaname hoping it would make him feel better for what has already happened. When Keiko was about to walk away.....Kaname grabbed her wrist and not her go. Keiko had suddenly turned pale. The instant Kaname grabbed her wrists she saw two people smiling at her but couldn't quite see their faces. She turned around to hug Kaname.

"I don't know but I saw something and I'm scared..... Kaname. I'm terrified of what I might see if I keep trying to remember."

Kaname didn't let her go,instead he hugged her back in embrace trying to calm her down. With that flowers around them began to bloom.  From that night.... Keiko still remembered the warmth of Kaname while heading back home. She could never forget the comfort he had brought to her. It was the same for Kaname..... For both felt comfortable when they embraced each other. A bond had grown from that night in a balcony.
