Sunday.

School tommorow .

Mom sat in the passengers seat and dad in the drivers, me and Yasmin sat at the back looking out of our windows as the sun set over the horizon.

My body felt as if it had been plunged into the depths of doom then put on a really fast Six Flags rollercoaster ride and thrown into a whirlpool . To put into easier words...

I felt like crap.

Never again was I going to party all night when I had plans, especially if I had to wake up at 9:30 the next day.

I leant my head against the cool window which made me feel less hot than I was at this moment, maybe if I didn't fall asleep in my clothes I wouldn't feel like this.

We were going to visit mom's sister; Aunt Gretchen who I favoured alot, even if she did dress like an ancient fortune teller.

I remember when I was younger she would always tell me 'you prove your worth by your actions, not your mouth' . At the time I was only 12 so of course it seemed like a stupid saying , but now I'm older I completely understand.

I took heed from that and always put it into my everyday life, never will I have to prove myself by talking.

It reminds me kinda of Briana.

''We're here.'' Mom announced, the car stopping abruptly.

Me and Yasmin both groaned in the thought that we would have to move, the both of us  knackered by yesterday's events.

Eventually we dragged our lethargic bodies out of the car and to the front door behind mom and dad who seemed chirpy and wakeful .

The door extended to reveal Aunt Gretchen dressed in a purple gown , matching earrings and a thick orange-colored pearl necklace. Her cheeks were a rosy red and a faint purple lipstick to compliment it. Surprisingly, her hair was covered in a black wrap.

''Is she a witch?'' Yasmin hissed.

''I don't know, but she looks different.'' I hissed back, trying to keep my fake smile.

''Hello!'' She chimed.

Mom hugged Gretchen who seemed ecstatic to see us, she hugged dad next then went for Yasmin who looked ill-fitting about the whole situation, although she still hugged her. It was my turn.

Slowly Aunt Gretchen walked up to me and took me into her arms, giving me a warm hug. Somehow I wasn't as creeped out as before and hugged her back.

We all walked inside to her house which looked way different than when we last came here.. well I was 13 the last time.

Dark brown oak wood covered the once bare floor, the walls were a burgundy shade. Further inside the kitchen were maroon walls with a wooden brown table in the middle and matching chairs surrounding it.

Everything was so dark as if rituals took place in this house, but it's her house so she can do whatever she pleases.

We sat around the kitchen table, mom and dad were a bit more comfortable than the two of us so they stood up opening cupboards looking for cups.

''The cups are in that cupboard.'' Aunt Gretchen told them , pointing at a old fashioned cupboard.

Yasmin and I sat stiffly , wondering if we should move or not.

After messing around with cups and teabags they all eventually sat down beside us both , sipping on whatever she had offered them.

''So, how are you both?'' Aunt Gretchen asked with a very wide smile on her face.
