Do you remember the story of Jehoshaphat and the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir in 2 Chronicles 20? How the Lord told Jehoshaphat to trust him with the fight of the battle and then causing the three armies to fight against each other? Well, this verse reminded me of that story.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Bible acts as a great reminder for those who are struggling in their sins to simply let go and trust the Lord. Look at the verse for today. No matter how many downfalls and drawbacks you get in your life, the Lord will always protect his children and keep them safe. For those who firmly trust in the Lord, no amount of danger or fearmongering can cause them to choose many different paths.
The Lord will protect us as long as we continue to trust in his goodness and his plan. We will feel no fear. We will experience no worry. He will take all that away if we just ask him and hold fast to the firm belief that he is almighty and all powerful in everything!
