Long, tedious roads and raw war cries, swollen eyes, misunderstanding.
Why are you so emotional?
You, want the world but fail to take it in your grasp because you fail to see it through the eyes of another.
Fail to understand you aren't the sun, but merely another star.
Yes, you shine so bright.
But this isn't about you. It's never been about you. So do you see, do you understand?

It's all clearer now isn't it?
The others appear now, don't they?
In your peripherals, because you feel so far ahead but atleast they're there now.

You've met someone you want to dedicate yourself to now.
Is it only for you? Is it fleeting?
Like a newborn calf on unsteady legs; this is unfamiliar terrain isn't it?
The predator lays awake and sharp and ready to draw you back to that pit of ignorance.

You battle it through. Like sapling sprouting from the thick blanket of snow.
