Jay let them, something in his gut telling him that he could trust them to give him this type of physical affection, behind his back one of the men talked to bane while the others kept the little one busy, bane knew the true cause of his wife's death but wanted confirmation, no matter how much it hurt him to his core, Harriette Maybore, 1959-1983, killed along side Lilly and James Potter by 'he-who-shall-not-be-named', trying assist to the two and their own young one, it took everything in bane not to collapse on his knees in front of his son right then and cry

Bane sworn off all magic related things then and there, cutting himself off from that realm and raised his son the best way he knew how as a single widowed father, it's been fourteen years, shame he didn't notice the owl swooping down on a branch of the Apple tree they had in their yard, a letter tied to its leg, tilting its head and looking at the man and child in curiosity and letting out a small hoot.
