I was on my way to the court house for the trial, I need to defend a guilty man from the charge of Section 10 Act Number 267 crime of embezzlement, yes, the man stole money from its company, Madrigal Law Office and somehow it felt like I knew this place..... strange.

The trial was fast, nanalo 'yung kalaban namin and obviously my client was sentenced to six years imprisonment. Kasi kung gagawa ng krimen yung wala sanang sablay charot.

I was on my way to the parking kaso may nabangga ako sa hallway
"Aray! Anak ng pating naman." tiningnan ko yung taong nakabangga sa akin. Matangkad na lalaki, naka-suit siya and I think siya yung CEO nung Law Firm na ninakawan ng client ko. Nung nakita niya ako para siyang nakakita ng multo. What the hell? Ganda ko namang multo.

"Ingat ka naman sa susunod lodi ha, laki mo nga di mo pa ako nakita." pananaray ko dahil di ako maka-get over dun sa trial, natalo pa nga.

"Millie?" nanlaki mata ko nung sinabi niya pangalan ko. Shutaness 'to bakit alam nito pangalan ko? "When did you get here? Kailan ka pa dito sa Pilipinas? Why didn't you tell me you were coming back?"

I stepped back a bit cause he is literally freaking me out right now, sino ba 'to? Gwapo siya oo pero hello, di ako baliw para sagutin agad mga tanong niya. "Ummm... do I k-know you?" tanong ko

I think he was stunned by my question so I talked again just to break the silence "Oh right you're the CEO of Madrigal Law Office" palusot ko "Nice to meet you, Sir. I'm Attorney Elaine Bautista" and I offered him to shake my hand but he just looked at me so ako na nag-adjust.

"Millie, I'm sorry I know may kasalanan ako sayo but please don't do this..." my face frowned because of confusion "Don't act like you don't know me."

"Uhh... As much as I want to accept your apology. I'm sorry too cause I don't know you" I said politely "And even if I do, I can't remember. I'm sorry"

Now he's confused, parang ewan lang teh nagkaka-tangahan kami dito ah.

"Then let me make you remember me." Pusang ginala naman ano ba sinasabi nito? But I was also curious kung sino siya. Because the way he talked to me as if he was a huge part of my life. At kung oo man, anong nangyari sa kanya? Sa amin? Bakit hindi siya ikuwinento ng family at friends ko? "Please, Millie? Let me talk to you?" dagdag pa niya.

I was about to agree but my best friend suddenly came. "Hoy kupal! Bakit mo kinakausap si Millie ha? Sasaktan mo nanaman siya?!" panunugod niya sa lalaking kausap ko.

"Hoy bakla ka, kalmahan mo lang baka isipin nila dito sasaktan mo yang si Mr...." pag-tigil ko, taenang buhay 'to kanina ko pa kausap 'yung lalaki di ko pa din kilala "What's your name pala, Sir?" tanong ko

"I'm Leo Madrigal" he responded, umurong bigla dila ko nung sinabi niya pangalan niya. Naramdaman ko sa sarili kong kilala ko siya at andaming bagay ang biglang pumasok sa utak ko.

"Ah! Aray!" my head suddenly felt painful dahil na rin siguro sa mga naisip kong bagay tungkol sa lalaking 'yon. Ngayon alam ko na at sigurado na akong malaki naging role niya sa buhay ko.
