TW: CRIME 

We were all busy at the office reading the file and examining it dahil bukas makikipag-meet na ako sa client namin. Kahit nakalagay dito sa file na he's an accused we still don't believe that. As lawyers we don't believe nor trust our clients, they're the ones who need to trust us in order for them to have justice. Sabi sa file our client was 'accused' for the murder of her older sister. 

When we're done reading the file and reviewing it we went home to continue our work. When I got home I ate dinner and took a quick bath then immediately worked on the case. First, I looked for motive why was our client accused with this and kung s'ya man ang gumawa bakit?

I did a research about our client's profile. And it seems like she had a crush on her sister's boyfriend but, that's not solid motive to kill her sister kung dahil lang sa selos hindi mag-tatagal ng limang taon ang Ate niya at yung boyfriend no'n.

I spent the night learning about our client. I got to bed at three in the morning then gigising ako ng five dahil six o'clock ang pasok ko. At eleven o'clock we will meet our client sa office din namin for privacy na din.

While we're waiting for our client to arrive we shared what we learned about her. It's ten o'clock palang naman eh.

"So, what did you know about her?" tanong ni Nica sa'min

"Well, I found out that she had a crush on her dead sister's boyfriend." I said 

"Really? How'd you know?" tanong ni Axcel sa'kin

"Our client, Alexis Dela Cruz, is a 19 year old teen. And like other teens, she has social media accounts. So I stalked her twitter, luckily hindi siya naka-private so I saw all of her tweets and screen shot them and printed them" I said handing out a brown envelop to Axcel and Anna

'Ang gwapo ni Aeron' tweeted 6 years ago

'Bakit kailangang Ate ko pa magustuhan mo? Andito naman ako?' tweeted five years ago, nung naging boyfriend na ng ate niya yung crush niyang si Aeron, ang cliché ah charot.

'I would've killed my sister if I have to' 

"Nice job here, Eli but how would this help us defend her?" tanong ni Anna

"I know that I should be defending her but I can't trust her words as her lawyer, she should be the one trusting me, us rather." sagot ko "Kung totoo ngang hindi siya ang gumawa, kailangan mawala ng mga post niya na ito." dagdag ko pa

Then the door opened, nakita na namin ang client namin. Just looking at her makes me want to be believe that it wasn't her. 

"Hi Alexis, I'm Attorney Elaine Bautista. I will be the one representing you in court." pag-bati ko shaking her hands 

She sat on the couch near the window of the office, she was with her friend since her parents disowned her dahil sa nangyari pero pinag-intay nalang namin yung friend niya sa labas.

"So, what do you feel about this stuff?" tanong ko

"I'm scared and irritated at the same time." sagot naman niya agad

"Why is that?" sunod na tanong ko

"Naiinis ako kasi andito ako kahit hindi naman ako ang pumatay sa Ate ko." malamig na sagot niya. Desidido siyang patunayan iyon sa'min.

"Well we're here to defend you but, in order for us to do so you need to tell us the truth okay? We will be asking you some questions and you have to answer us honestly." sabi ko at tumango lang ang bata
