A few months later

"Luke Christopher grey get down here right now you have school that you are going to be late for."

*knock knock knock*

Mer goes to open the door to let Derek in.

"Hey. I know that you weren't planning for me to show up this early but I thought I would join you guys for the kids first day of kindergarten." Derek says when i open the door.

"Yeah sure. The kids are both freaking out and Luke won't even come out of his room. If you don't mind can you put Ellie in the car." Mer asks derek before running up the stairs.

"Yeah sure." He yells after her

"Hey. I don't think you should be here man."Andrew says walking up to derek with Ellie in his arms.

"What?" Derek questions.

"The kids don't want you here and the two of them will never see you as a father to them. I am their father so you need to just get out of here before you ruin anything else in merediths life. She doesn't trust you considering how you left the three of them before and thinks that if you do leave then you will take her kids with you." Andrew says to derek stepping behind him and opening the door up for him so Derek can leave.

"What no. I'm not going to leave them." Derek almost yells out.

"This isn't a suggestion it's an order. Nobody in this house wants you here and we all know you are going to leave and then I'm going to have to pick up the mess you left. So you might as well leave now or else I'm going to call the cops." Andrew says pushing derek out of the house.

Andrew grabs all of Ellie's stuff and walks her out to the car.

Once Andrew is outside he observes to see that Derek and his car is gone and he is hoping that he never comes back because this is andrews life and he will be damned if Derek takes it away from him.

"Hey where's Derek?" Meredith asks Andrew as she is buckling Luke into the car seat.

"Uh i dont know. I went outside to put Ellie's stuff in the car and Ellie was just sitting in the car. So I stayed with her."

"Damn it." Meredith mutters.

Meredith runs back into the house to grab the rest of the kids stuff and her purse before heading back into the car.

When they get to the school Ellie is scared but as soon as she gets there she is happy and runs off with another little girl.

Luke on the other hand was clinging onto merediths leg the entire time and did not want to let go no matter what.

Eventually andrew and Meredith were able to get away from Luke and leave him with the teachers.

The teachers all seemed nice but Meredith was in a bad mood.

" babe what's wrong?" Andrew questions almost halfway through the silent car ride to work.

" I knew that I couldn't trust him, but I still did. I let him back into my life and I even let him into my kids life. And he's done it again he has just left with no explanation. Maybe when he is mature enough I will let him be apart of the kids life but right now he is never going to see them." Meredith almost yells.
