Hope's P.O.V

When I woke up, I couldn't help but notice the moonlight shining through the living room window. I tried to get up but my body felt so heavy. I felt something soft and warm under me. Fuck don't tell I did something at the party. I thought to myself slowly lifting my head to see the person I may or may not have slept with. When I brushed a few strands of hair out of her face, I was able to fully make out her features.

Soft porcelain skin, with long lashes and full pouty lips. Josie. I sighed in content. I ran my fingers down her jawline, down her neck, and along her arm. Both of us still fully clothes, though we weren't in pajamas, just our regular clothes.

Once more I tried to get up but the sudden movement made me dizzy i felt like I was going to throw up.

"Hope" Josie mumbled waking up. She must of saw the nausea look on my face since she pushed me off her and onto the floor. She stood up quickly, but before she could take a step forward she fell on to the floor as well."Fuck" I heard Josie whisper. I saw her trying to get up once more, making sure she didn't put any pressure on her right leg.

I tried to move, but again that proved futile since my body felt like it weighed a ton. Josie quickly came back limping, with a trash can in hand. When she placed the bucket down I immediately threw up in it. I felt Josie grab my hair and begin to tie it into a messy bun, rubbing my back for comfort.

When I was done she helped wipe my mouth and gave me a water bottle. Rinsing my mouth and gargling away the nasty bile, I was finally able to sit up.

"Do you feel better" josie said.

"Y-yeah. Yeah I think so" I panted trying to catch my breath.

"Okay, let's uh... let's get you sobered up. I'll get you something to eat" josie gave me a tight lip smile. She tried to get up. Using the couch that was next to her for support. Again she didn't put any pressure on her leg. I stayed quiet barley able to hear the hissing pain and agonizing cries.

"Josie are you okay" I asked worryingly. I quickly stood up, again realizing it was a bad idea since I stumbled backwards. Luckily I landed in the couch.

"I'm fine" josie said through gritted teeth. I slowly and carefully get up from the couch and walk towards the kitchen. The lights are blinding at first, taking me a few seconds to get use to them, but once I regained my vision I saw Josie leaning over the counter. She looked like she was in pain.

"Josie" I tried to go to her but she just brushed me off. She grabbed a plate, cereal, and milk placing the items on the counter in front of me. Then she poured everything into the bowl and gave me a spoon. Not once did she say anything to me. She was about to walk away but I held onto her wrist. "Sit down with me, please" I told her, voice coming out in a whisper.

"I said I'm fine. Eat your cereal and go back to sleep" josie didn't look at me. She kept looking at the ground. I looked down, her right foot barley touching the floor. It wasn't like that this morning. She was perfectly fine putting pressure on it, but now even one tiny touch sent her in agony. I got off the stool and readied myself. I know I'm drunk, but I'm not weak. I picked Josie up from her thighs and sit her down on the counter next to me. She hissed in pain once more. I can see it in her eyes she wants to cry.

She looked like she did, that day she came over to my house for the first time. When Landon hurt her....

"Did Landon do something to your leg, again" I shouted causing my head to pound. I shook the feeling away taking Josies sweats and rolling it past her knee. I tried to carefully touch her leg. There was a scar down her knee from her surgery when she tore her ACL, but there wasn't anything else. No bruises or swelling. Still just because there wasn't visible injuries it didn't mean she wasn't in pain.
