y/n: The only bags I have are the bags under my eyes, and they're specifically designed to carry the burden of my existence

Chase: *stumbles into the room, knocking over a computer, and smashes into a the door of his capsule*

Chase tilting y/n's chin up to get a better look at their face and the evidence of the fight. He delicately thumbs away the streak of blood on her mouth, saying nothing as they examine it. After a brief pause, y/n's heart skips a nervous beat as Chase looks her dead in the eyes. His voice is quiet and tense, their anger barely restrained.

"Who did this to you?"

Chase: oh, cool. I'm up for some food.

y/n, sobbing uncontrollably: CAN YOU PLEASE STOP ACTING LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED-
