07| The Obsticle Race(Edited)

As soon as all three lights go out you are practically trampled by other people, though you managed to push yourself near the front. "Damn..we just started this thing, and we're already butting heads?!" You complain to no one in particular.

Just as you manage to get out of the stadium, a blast of ice freezes you and the rest of the contestants in place as you see Todoroki fly past you. "Heh, nice move Shoto. Touché." You say as you somehow manage to jump and break out of the ice, along side Yaomomo, Bakugo, Aoyama, and Kirishima.

As you are still flying mid air you hear Bakugo yell, "I won't let you get away so easily you half-and-half bastard!" Now rolling on the floor and getting back up to run, you begin to feel the adrenaline rush through your body. This was amazing, you've never had such fun in your life!

As you're pounding your feet into the ice below you, making wide jumps across the course, you look back and see Ojiro, Tokoyami, Mina, and Mineta start to catch up. You start to jump farther to cover more ground. As soon as you're only feet away from Shoto and kicking him out of your way, you get hit in the side by a large metal object. Sending you flying across the course and leaving you on the ground, clutching your ribs in pain.

"Y/N!" Izuku yells to you then turns his head to what hit you. Before him stands a giant robot, claws, cameras and all.

You shakily stand up and look over at it. It turns its camera to you as you hear, "Target Aquired."

"Time four out first roadblock, Robot Inferno!" Mic announces through the speakers as the other students froze in shock.

Now standing up, eyes watering, but able to shake off the pain, you look at the robot that hit you l, "Oh for Christ's Sake!" You yell as you somehow manage to dodge another attack from the monstrosity. You manage to jump up and run across it's arm (AOT style iykyk) as you glance over at Shoto freezing a whole robot. You sigh and continue running up its arm with the commotion of Shoto's robot falling over. You manage to get to it's head and punching it directly in its camera. Now with the robot disabled, you thought it would be easier to get past yes? No. It's attacks were more frantic, desperate to hit something. You were easily flung to the ground and almost crushed by it's 'feet' if you haven't rolled out of the way in time.

But not wanting to waste your energy on the apparent first of many roadblocks ahead, you sprinted past the blinded robot and tried to run through the whole challenge, "Another robot disabled and second one through the barrier Y/N Usagiyama, Class 1A!" You hear on the speaker as you're running behind Todoroki.

As you listened to the speakers, you could tell that most people got past the roadblock now. Suddenly a stabbing pain grows on your side where you were hit. You  stumble a little bit, but push through and continue running. But not too far ahead, you see that you've lost track of Shoto, but are now greeted with a giant cavern with pillars and ropes.

"Welcome to 'The Fall'!" Mic starts as the rest of the students catch up to you, "You wouldn't wanna fall in, because if you do. You're out!"

You look over at the others and say, "You can be eliminated?! I thought you just had to stay on course!"

Then you hear Izuku come up behind you and say, "Well, I guess whatever's down there is considered off course.." you look at him and notice that he's holding a big slab of one of the robots.

"Izu..I think you might wanna drop that off here, I don't know if you'll be able to cross this.." you say pointing at the cavern, "with that..". As you turn back, you see a girl with pink hair fly past you almost knocking you off the edge. She lands on one of the pillars, and zip lines to another one. That's when you notice Tsuyu on one of the ropes just climbing her way across. "Okay, I'm not gonna be left behind this time.." you start as you back up and run towards the edge of the cliff, right as you reach the edge, you jump off and land on the nearest pillar and proceed to slowly, but surely make your way across the cavern.

Just as you get across, you see Bakugo fly over your head aiming for Todoroki.
"If this is a fight, I damn well won't be here for it." You mutter to your self as you hurdle over Shoto's head and sprint forwards.

"Would you look at that! We've got someone new in the lead! Y/N Usagiyama now ahead and in first place! But because of that rib injury at the start, I wonder how long can she keep this up?!" The speakers blared into your ears. 'Ugh, they saw that?! Damn.' You scolded yourself as you were running alone for a good 5 minutes, until you come across the third roadblock.
"Here we are at roadblock number three! It's a Minefield! The explosions aren't too powerful, but that doesn't mean you can take it easy!" Mic yells on the speaker

'Great, now I've gotta think. These mines are scattered across the field, and I need to get across...but how?' You think to yourself as Todoroki and Bakugo close in behind you. You think quickly, and decide to try and long jump this. Is it a good idea? No. But an idea nonetheless.

As Bakugo speeds past you, now in first place, Shoto not to far behind, you pace back a couple yards and sprint, once you're at the edge you jump as far as you physically can, that was about 1/12 of the minefield. Luckily for you, you didn't land on any mines when you hit the ground. There was still so much ground to cover, but you had to continue. You decided to save some energy and try to use the mines as boosters for your jumps. Staying in place, you manage to find an exposed bomb. You use it as a spring pad to launch yourself far ahead of the other students. You do this about 2 more times before you reach Todoroki and Bakugo. Wanting to show off, you jumped on a bomb and aimed yourself between both on them. As you flew past, you winked and said, "See you at the finish line." Knowing damn well it was gonna piss of Bakugo.

-Deku POV-

'Damn it, I'm pretty far behind...but I can't use One for All here so..wait!' I get an idea, it's stupid, but it might work. I wrap my arm around the wires left on the metal beam, and slam it into the ground. This creates a huge explosion that sends me flying through the air.

I look down and see Kaccan, Todoroki, and Y/N look at me in shock as I fly straight over their heads and land in first place.
