"Does anyone have anything to say?" Andrew Perkins the trauma Counsellor asks "I know that a lot of you are only here because this has been mandated, so let's talk"
After the hospital shooting, your life has been so different. You had nightmares and intense ptsd from all the traumatic stuff you saw, like your bestfriend being shot infront of you and almost dying and Gary Clark putting a gun to your head multiple times and threatening to shoot. You watch Gary Clark kill So many staff members right infront of you, you watching Charles Percy, get shot in the chest all that stuff
You were all sitting in a circle and you were picking at your nails and your leg wouldn't stop bouncing as the trauma was still fresh to you, no one was talking "anything at all?" Perkins says
"I ate a really good taco, from one of those trucks by the side of the road" Cristina says speaking up
"When?" Meriedth says
"Last night, you were asleep"
"Which truck, the one on seventh?" Jackson asks
"I want to go I like tacos" Alex says
"Me, too" April says
"Dr. Wood, do you have anything to say?" Perkins asks you and you just shake your head
"I read a book." Lexie says speaking up "about the history of mass murders in the US. You know, that's the actual name of what happened to us, it was a mass murder. You can't call it a terrorist attack because the murders weren't political in nature, and we weren't the victims of a serial killer because Mr. Clark wouldn't had to murder several people over a period longer than 30 days in order to qualify as a serial killer. We could call it a spree killing, which is defined as killings at two or more locations with no break or pause in between because Mr. Clark shot that guy in the car before he got here, but I'm not sure that that counts as a true second location, since it was so close to the hospital which means that were a mass murder. Because it happens at one place by one person and more than 4 people were killed" lexie says because she has a photographic memory so she'll remember the murders even more graphically than others
Two week later, you were having a one on one with Andrew Perkins in the conference room
"I feel like I am ready to get back to work. I mean I'm as ready as any of us are, sitting around, waiting, I hate it" you say to Andrew the trauma councillor evaluating everyone
"Your had a loaded gun up against your head" he says "you watch your friends and co-workers getting shot"
"I know, I-I do know that" you say "and I'll never forget, I'll have that memory with me forever, don't you think I know that. I'll always be the girl who had a gun to her head" you say getting abit defensive and tearing up"im sorry"
