ATSUMU POV

The next day, I woke up to the sound of coughing. My head turned to the side and saw Osamu clutching his chest as he kept coughing. I immediately climbed onto his bed.

"Samu! Samu! Are ya okay?" I asked rubbing his back. I then noticed how hot Osamu was. I jumped off the bed and ran out into the hall and called for mama.

"What's wrong dear?" Mama asked.

"Osamu! He's DYING" I yelled before grabbing mama's hand and pulling mama to our room.

"Oh my, Atsumu please stay outside. Mama will take care of Osamu." I nodded and remainder outside the door. I waited there for a while before mama came back out.

"Atsumu, Osamu is sick so please don't go near him. I don't want you to get sick either. For now just let him rest." Mama said and I pretended to salute. As soon as mama was out of sight I opened the door to go to Osamu.

"Samu!" I said.

"Tsumu, ya can't be in here."

"But we were suppose to play with Yuki outside today." I said disappointment.

"Ya can play without me. I'll play tomorrow." Osamu said. I sighed but nodded nonetheless. Osamu looked really tired and I didn't want to be the cause of him being sick for another day.

I grabbed Yuki before walking out the room. The maids provided me with breakfast which I barely touched. Everything felt so different without Osamu since we did everything together. We ate, changed, brushed our teeth, played together and now it felt like I was living in a different world.

I grabbed my coat and put on some rain boots before taking Yuki outside.

"C'mon Yuki! I'll show ya our secret hiding place." I say before running off into our garden. There was a layer of snow on the ground and there were snowflakes falling down from the sky. I put my hood on covering all my hair so it doesn't get wet. Once I arrived to our secret location which was hidden from the rest of the mansion. I dug up some of the snow so that there was a small patch of grass. I then placed Yuki onto the floor. What I didn't notice was the lack of movement from Yuki.

Yuki had just fallen to the ground like a domino. I tried to make Yuki stand up but it didn't work. Yuki just laid there. Eyes closed. No movements. No breathing. Dead.

"Yuki... please wake up. Osamu got sick saving ya so ya gotta wake up to see him." I cried. Osamu is gonna be sad and I don't want him to be sad.

"Yuki.." I let my tears fall as Yuki laid there, lifeless. Once I calmed down, I placed Yuki back into the box. I wasn't gonna bury Yuki until Osamu was better. I decided to head back in to tell Osamu the bad news.

"Samu..." I mumbled opening the door.

Osamu was seated up with a bed table in front of him. He had a bowl of soup that he was drinking.

"Tsumu? Ya can't be in here." Osamu croaked out.

"Samu... Yuki's dead." I said looking down.

...

There was no response from Samu but soon a could here little sniffles. I ran to Osamu's bed before climbing on and showing him the box.

"I think it died last night.." Osamu mumbled. "I don't think it just died."

I nodded before placing Yuki onto our bedside table. I then ran to grab a white cloth before covering Yuki with it.

"Sleep well, Yuki" Osamu and I said together.

"ATSUMU MIYA! I told ya not to come in here yet you choose to disobey." Mama came walking in. I shook from the loud noise the door made when she came ramming in.

"Sorry mama" I said before bowing and running out. I made eye contact with Osamu just before exiting. It was something we always did out of habit.

I decided to head back out to the garden since there wasn't anything else to do.

As I headed back outside I decided to build small snowman's. I made one snowosamu and one snowatsumu before I got tired and decided to take a break by sitting under the tree. Just as I was about to get up there was a rustling sound that came from the bush beside me. A wild animal?

The rustling got louder and louder and I only got more curious.

"Uhh hello?" I called out. Finally someone came tumbling out of the bush.

The boy looked around my age with curly jet black hair. He was only wearing a white tshirt and some shorts in this snowy weather. His arms were filled with bruises and blood which tainted the pure white snow. His legs were a mirror of his arms. His face had a couple of bruises and his lip was bleeding. There were huge eye bags under his eyes. There were two little moles on top of his eyebrows which was probably his most defined feature. My eyes roamed over him one more time, taking in his state before I made eye contact with him.

"I-I'll get help" I stutter before standing up. The boy immediately pulled my arms back down.

"No."

"But yer hurt" I try to reason with him.

I quickly take my jacket off before wrapping it around the injured boy.

"I'm Miya!" I introduce myself. Mama always says I shouldn't tell people my name but Miya is fine.

"Okay." The boy responded. He was trying to warm his hands up in the jacket. Luckily I was wearing a sweater so I wasn't too cold.

"What's yer name?" I ask.

He seemed hesitant. He looked at me for a bit before responding. "Kiyoomi"

"Nice to meet ya Omi Omi!"
