Suna POV

"Shhh" I whisper as I crouch down behind a bush.

"W-what is it?" Osamu whispers back. He sounded really panicked but remained crouched behind me one of his hands clutching onto the back of my shirt. Cute.

Wait not cute. I use my free hand to pull his hand off me before getting back to position. I pulled out a gun before shooting a bird that was perched on a tree branch. Osamu had flinched from the sound and immediately went back to grabbing the back of my shirt. I just chose to ignore it this time and let him be him. Once the bird hit the ground I stood up and walked over to it. I pulled out a knife and held it out to Osamu who was still behind me.

"Why don't you end it's misery?"

Osamu was shaking his head left to right at a pretty insane speed. I chuckled before doing it myself. A little whimper came out of Osamu as the knife came into contact with the birds neck. I kicked over some large rocks to form a circle before grabbing the bird and shoving it to Osamu to hold. I heard Osamu shriek behind me before hearing a small thud. I assumed he must have dropped the bird to the ground out of fear. I then grabbed a batch of twigs and leaves before throwing them down on top of the little fire pit I had. Rummaging through my pockets, I managed to dig out my smoking lighter. I used it to light the fire and fed the fire until it was just right.

I cleaned the bird as best I could before using some sticks to hold it on top of the fire. I finally sat back and watched as it cooked.

"Are you just gonna stand there and look pretty the whole night?" I teased as I noticed Osamu standing awkwardly behind the fire.

"... Yer gonna eat that?" Osamu asked.

"Well we can't all have 5 course meals made by 5 star Michelin chefs now can we?" I responded. "Now come here and try being broke for a while yeah?"

Osamu hesitated but eventually made his way over. I handed him a leg to munch on in which he took to his disgust. He looked at the bird and it took almost half an hour before he decided to take a bite.

"What if the bird had a family?" Osamu mumbled after he finished eating.

I laughed out loud. I thought he was disgusted by the quality when really Osamu was just worried about eating the bird.

"I'm sure this is not the first time you've eaten meat. Just be grateful and only kill what you will eat." I answered truthfully.

The rest of the night was rather silent. Lucky for me, Osamu did not attempt to make a run for it. Instead he remained close by and slept soundly on the floor. Once I was sure Osamu was asleep I decided to get up and walk towards the lake. It wasn't a long walk, in fact it was really close by.

I threw my shirt off and sat down on a rock so that I could clean off the blood. Luckily I was wearing a black shirt so the blood on the shirt wasn't obvious. Gin had scraped my back pretty hard. I winced as I used my shirt as a sponge to wash my wounds. This kidnapping job is getting more and more frustrating. I didn't get to drive much today considering the unwanted meet up with Gin.

There wasn't much I could do about the wound since I didn't have any bandages or anything. I just sat under the stars as the cold breeze hit my bare back. After a bit of rest I decided to send Sakusa a message saying that I'll be late. He didn't seem happy about it but nonetheless he made sure I brought him back safe.

I pulled out a cigarette and began to smoke. In the corner of my eye I could see something or more specifically someone standing behind a tree.

"You're not a very good hider." I called out.

I watched as Osamu immediately crouched down. I chuckled at his naiveness.

"Come here now. I promise I won't bite." I called out once again.

After what felt like a century, I could see Osamu come out from the shadows and walked over to the rock I was rested at.

It took a moment for Osamu to look up but once he did, I little gasp came out of his lips.

"Yer bleeding..." he mumbled.

"Ding ding ding! You're correct" I said. He frowned as he observed the wound.

"I know I have a nice back but that doesn't mean you need to stare" I tease.

"Does it hurt?" Osamu finally found the words.

"I've been through worse. This is nothing. Don't worry yourself too much." I responded sincerely. I felt a bit awkward since I've never been given so much concern. I took another hit from my cigarette before throwing it on the ground and putting it out.

"Alright let's head to sleep. Long drive tomorrow." I muttered out but resulted with no response. I turned around only to see Osamu staring off into the night sky. His face was illuminated by the moonlight and his eyes sparkled like the stars. It was almost ethereal.

I immediately shook my head to get those thoughts out of head and marched off. I mentally slapped myself for thinking like that.

Seriously what is happening to me...

I got back to our now died out fire. My shirt was almost dry now so I just threw it on and got comfortable on the ground. Moments late I could hear small steps over. My eyes remained closed. I then felt something warm against my back. Ii tilted my head a bit only to see Osamu had curled up right behind me. I was about to get up and sleep somewhere else but something in me was telling me to just leave it. So I did.
