In Texas
It's another busy day for Barreled...again. Who was sent to excort some advance machine to be locked up in a island, called Galveston Island.
Barreled: I never thought I would be in a escort mission.
Glock: well consider yourself lucky, brother. You'll be on escorting it on a ship.
Barreled: on a ship? That doesn't sound like a escort mission since I doubt anyone would be willing to attack a boat.
Glock: you never know. Also you'll also be helping the lady who invented the machine that you're helping escort.
Barreled: really?
Glock: yes, she's waiting up there. So you better get on the ship before it leaves.
Barreled: alright, I'll see you in a week or two *climbs onto the ship*
Glock: bring me souvenir!
Barreled: I will!
Some minutes later the ship started to sail away to it's destination.
Barreled: huh *looking at the big white sheet covering the machine* I wonder what kind of invention is this.
Tramsa: it's better to keep your curiosity low
Barreled: oh, hello. Who are you?
Tramsa: I'm Tramsa or as many people would call me Professor Tramsa.
Barreled: ! So you are the one who invented the machine that's here.
Tramsa: huh, you caught up fast. At least I don't have to explain much *chews a gum*
Barreled: so would you mind explaining this invention of yours that we are protecting?
Tramsa: is a time machine.
Barreled: what?! That's impossible.
Tramsa: believe it or not, it's real. It was made by me, after many attempts of recreating it.
Barreled: *in awe* that's amazing but why are we taking this to an island?
Tramsa: to lock it up because of a accidental misused by some "genius" moron that almost ruined the present, which is classified so no question about it.
Barreled: oh okay. How many attempts did it took to finally perfected it?
Tramsa: 10 attempts
Barreled: that doesn't sound a lot.
Tramsa: well it is especially for how long it takes to build one.
Barreled: what happened to those attempts.
Tramsa: bunch of accidents happened like explosion, power outage, dangerous chemical spill, and etc.
Barreled: must be dangerous, what was in your mind on making a time machine?
Tramsa: basically I wanted to create a small time machine that you could carry and take any where instead of those generic ones where you have to get in a time machine to time travelled. Unfortunately I ended up with a generic one which is the one right next us since it was more easier it seems.
Barreled: sounds interesting and complex. I wonder what did that guy do in the time machine to make it dangerous.
Tramsa: I'm not supposed to tell you anything about it exactly but I supposed you're trustworthy enough especially for a lone wolf right now.
Barreled: thank you.
Tramsa: what happened is the person I sent back in time cause some actions in the past that possible affected time meaning it cause the possibility of changing the present.
Barreled: and what part of the present change?
Tramsa: none
Barreled: none!?
Tramsa: well I'm not sure yet exactly since it's impossible to find as it could just be a small thing that's hard to notice that barely change the present.
Barreled: ah okay. Nothing seemed to change, if something bad were to happened we would have noticed in the news.
Tramsa: I supposed you're right but at the same time, the government probably knows what changed and are keeping it a secret to themselves.
Barreled: wow, I feel so intelligent in the conversation.
Tramsa: keep dreaming, lone wolf, keep dreaming...
After almost a week has passed the time machine was successfully sealed in a containment until further search of any sudden changes in the present. Meanwhile, Barreled decided to enjoy a break at the island's beach before leaving the island in a couple a days.
The question right now is did anything really change in the present or was it all just an over exaggeration?
