Escaping from the world

In planet earth from a different universe where the planet got taken over by an evil force leading to the end of the world and a timeline.

In a base

Soldier: *patrolling the halls*

Armstrong: looks like this is the last soldier I gotta deal with *Uses his robot arm to grab the soldier's gun across the room*

Soldier: what the-?

Armstrong: *shoots him*

Soldier: *dead*

Armstrong: phew, finally *shoots security cameras while running* I'm finally close

Few minutes later
In a teleporting room

Armstrong: this is it, time to leave this hell world *starts activating the teleporting*

???: *On the PA* I wouldn't do that if I were you. You already know it's illegal to just use that machine

Armstrong: !!! *Looks around* so?

???: So I got a friend of yours in hostage

Armstrong: yeah, right. They are all dead because of you.

???: Well... I got someone named, Alex.

Armstrong: dude, there's a lot of people named Alex. How are we supposed to be sure it's the right Alex?

???: Grrr, I hate your smart ass *peels the tape of Alex*

Alex: ow!

???: How's that?

Armstrong: ! No, why him? I thought he was dead

???: Well I took him because a fortune teller predicted that you would come here

Armstrong: that snitching bitch!

???: Now how about you turn off that thing and I'll let you and your friend live or he'll died.

Alex: don't listen to him, just escape

Armstrong: but-

Alex: no buts, just do it. My life matter less than yours. I'm sure those who died for you wanted you to escape as their last request.

Armstrong: but-

Alex: I said no buts!

Armstrong: alright I'll take your words

???: Hmph, I guess this is your decision *shoots Alex*

???: Shut off the power!

Armstrong: oh shit *runs to the the teleporting device* don't fail me machine, take me somewhere better

Then instantly Armstrong was teleported but what he wasn't expecting was to be teleported in another universe and at the same 'time' the time machine cause a side effect being that it reminded him all the horrible experience he went through like deaths and failures making him feel guilty for everything
