THIS WAS AN UNPRECEDENTED CHALLENGE FOR CLASS 1-A. now, they had gone many years in their life expecting to be heroes. fighting villains and combat/rescue drills at this point in their UA school life was more normal than not. however, a breakup between the only couple in their class -- between two that people would least suspect to be dating unless they saw them in person -- was a great shock. no matter which way they put themselves around it, it was totally unexpected.

specifically, fujiwara ayumi had slept past 10AM, which was somewhat of an incredible feat in and of itself. the girls of class 1-A thought she was dead, so they sent in hagakure to infiltrate her room and check if she was at least breathing. (and hagakure took this job so seriously that she went into the room fully invisible to check up on her friend.)

once they determined that she was just sleeping, they were even more shocked. on a normal day, ayumi was the first girl up and usually woke up her friends on her floor (mina and uraraka) on the designated times they asked her to wake them up. she was one of those people in their class that exercised early in the morning

bakugo, however, had not slept a wink the night before. the surprise that kaminari denki felt when he woke up at 3AM to get a glass of water only to see bakugo katsuki sitting on the couch ominously was enough to make him think that the sleep deprived boy was actually the ghost of christmas past. kaminari had been so spooked that he went back up to the boys' dorms to wake up bakugo to kill the ghost. but, since bakugo was the "ghost," kaminari got spooked even further about bakugo's disappearance and woke up kirishima.

it ended up being a huge ordeal. by the time the entire class 1-A (minus ayumi) was awake, it turns out, bakugo fell asleep sitting up out of pure exhaustion. he had already been asleep at 2AM, which was already almost five hours past his normal bedtime anyways. gathering around the other set of couches on the other side of the dorms, the majority of class 1-A gathered for a meeting.

"i think we all know why we're here," kaminari declared.

"because you woke us all up at 3AM?" kirishima answered, confused. "bakugo's alive and not a ghost."

"he looks dead though," jiro agreed, peering over at where bakugo was absolutely dead asleep at the other side of the common area.

"no!" kaminari denied. "yesterday night, class 1-A's pride and joy of UA student romance died! bakugo and fujiyumi broke up! they were my romance heroes! i even wanted to be the godfather of their daughter!"

sero butted in. "no offense, kaminari, but i would've definitely been the godfather."

"it could've been a son too," mineta said, completely horrified at how terrifying a girl with bakugo and ayumi as parents would be.

"it would've definitely been a daughter," mina argued. the romance of her dreams would've had bakugo and ayumi as such a cute couple. the pink girl definitely would've pegged bakugo to be a good dad and his daughter to be somewhat of a daddy's girl. but, that dream died last night.

"if we're thinking about the future, i want to see their children too," todoroki confessed, trying to get a grasp of the situation.

absolutely sick of the direction this was going in, mineta interrupted. "okay, why are we talking about their kid? they broke up."
