The honey boy had a golden halo around his head
Copper skin that was as smooth as satin
And eyes the color of marvelous marmalade
He always ate the sweetest foods
Insisting that salty or savory would ruin his mood
And therefore, salty and savory ruined my mood too
The honey boy was kind to me
Kissing me where it hurt
His words dripping of the gooey consistency everytime he spoke to me
However
All of the sweetness got to his head
And turned is mind and heart rotten
His words no longer oozing over me like a warm blanket
But rather than stinging me with their venom disguised as honey
I ran away
