Ink's Perspective
One month. Candie and Aya have been here for one month, and they still haven't told us about themselves and why the hell Error took interest in them.
My curiosity was getting in the way of things, Candie and Aya kept going to AUs without my permission, and Dream was getting worried over us.
I had to learn the truth. One way or another. So, I thought.
'If Candie won't say anything about what happened. And if Aya is completely clueless, what could I do to make Aya memorize it?'
That's when it hit me. Memorize. Memory. MEMORY SANS!
I bolted up from where I was sitting, catching Candie's attention.
"What is it Ink?" She asked quietly, as a way to not wake the sleeping Aya on her lap.
'Crap! Should I tell her?' Were my immediate thoughts. I looked at Candie, then at Aya, then back at Candie.
I sighed, having a weird sense of guilt in me. "I'm going to pay a good friend of mine a visit. It might be a while, so if Dream comes, tell him that." I explained.
"Okay. But, who's the friend?" Candie asked instantly. 'Crap crap crap! Quick! Come up with a lie!'
"I'm gonna be visiting Lust." I lied. 'No you moron! Now she'll think you're being horny again!'
I heard a faint sigh from her as she shook her head. "Fine, but don't come back talking about your experience again. My head is still haunted from the things you told me." She said, probably disgusted.
"Alright! I won't!" I promised. "Oh yeah, you should probably get some sleep too." I added, before taking Broomie out and making my portal.
She nodded as a way of saying "Okay", and I jumped in.••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Aya's Perspective
It's cold. It's so cold. Where are we? I can hear laughter in the distance, but it's so far.
I'm holding someone's hand. It's warm and comforting. Almost like Candie's.
"We'll be in (--)(|\|)(///)(\/\/)(|--)(-|-)(|\|) in no time!"
Was that my voice? What was that place? What did I say? What was it?
"Yeah...we will..." Candie? Is that you? "Are you okay? You don't seem really happy Candie."
That is Candie! Candie! Candie! Help me! I can't see! Wait, is she sniffling? Candie! Don't cry! I'm here!
Let me see darn it! Let me see! I need to see! I have to comfort Candie!
Wait, I feel her body warmth. Are we hugging? Yes! I'm comforting her! I need her to not cry.
"I'm sorry....Aya..." About what? What are you sorry about? Please tell me!
Pain. Sharp pain. It's in my back. What's this pain? Make it stop! It hurts! IT HURTS SO MUCH! MAKE IT STOP!
Where's her warmth. I can't feel it anymore. All I can feel is snow. The cold, wet snow. Where is she? Candie! Please come back! Candie!!!!!
"sorry kiddo, looks like she's doing this again.."(AN: If anyone can translate The Elysian Code here, I'll give you spoilers for the next story!)

I jolted awake, the pain I felt in my dream vanishing. What was that dream about anyways? Why did I have it? Oh well, I guess I'll never know.
I picked myself up, still thinking I was resting on Candie's lap. However, when I sat up, I realized I was sleeping on the ground.
I looked around, hoping I could try to find her, and I did.
But, for a moment, it felt like it wasn't her. When I had found her, she was laying down, sobs escaping from her mouth, scars covering her arms.
I rubbed my eyes and looked back at Candie. There she was. Sleeping peacefully while leaning against the DreamTale Gate.
I sighed of relief. What was that? Am I starting to hallucinate now?
I shook my head, hoping that was just a part of my sleepiness.
"You're up early." Dream chimed. I turned to him quickly, sighing in relief. "Hi Dream." I greeted sleepily.
He smiled, greeting me with a happy "Good morning!"
"Where's Ink?" He asked after looking around. I shrugged. "I just woke up, so I don't know." I mumbled.
"Oh well. I'll ask Candie when she wakes up." He suggested to himself.
It all went quiet until my stomach grumbled. Dream looked at me and grinned slightly.
"Looks like someone is hungry." He chuckled. I felt myself blush in embarrassment.
I got up, popped my neck, and made my way over to him.
"Can we go to an AU to eat?" I asked, already aware that he would say "no".
"Actually, I brought something light for you and Candie!"
'Huh? Light? What does he mean by that? I'll ask him!' I thought, intrigued by his answer.
"What do you mean by light? Is something important going to happen?" I questioned.
"Well..." Dream began. "Me and Ink were talking last night, and we had a thought. Maybe we could make a home for you and Candie." He explained nicely.
"A home? But Candie already had a home. Can't you just place her with her family?" I questioned suspiciously this time.
"Uhm...That's the thing, we can't find her family." He added worriedly. "But that should be easy! It's just her family." I said.
"No no. You misunderstood. We can't find any other timeline with Candie's family. And the ones they were in are already destroyed..." He explained.
"Destroyed? Did that Error guy destroy them?" I asked, fear and worry raising inside of me. Dream nodded.
I sniffled, tears beginning to prick at my eyes. How was I ever gonna tell Candie she'll never see her family again? How was I gonna try and comfort her?
Dream came over to me and side hugged me, as a way to stop me from shedding a tear.
I inhaled and exhaled. I have to break the news to her either way.
"Aya? What's wrong?" Candie asked sleepily, rubbing her eyes.
A yawn managed to escape from her as she looked over to us.
'Oh boy...'
