June 2191. The world is almost done. Softened up by laser bombs, the last of the global nuclear bombs are igniting. Radioactive fallout is rapidly spreading. An enveloping nuclear apocalypse caused, incredibly, by no less than the dumbing down of a globally enforced English language.

The nefarious omnipotent wallpad ORANGE corporation, the controllers and master manipulators of the English language, purposely caused the apocalypse. They started World War Infinity, a war that was certain to herald the utter and total destruction of humanity. Why?

Julie and Sally are among the last of a pitiful number of survivors, but wallpad ORANGE is tracking their every movement, as they are anyone alive. Moreover, wallpad ORANGE desperately want Julie and Sally captured, tortured and executed. And to make matters worse, in a laser-bombed flattened London, the radioactive clouds are speedily heading Julie and Sally's way. How can they possibly survive?

What some readers are saying about this cool, creative, captivating sci-fi dystopian thriller:

"This will certainly entertain both the YA and adult dystopian sci-fi loving masses. For me a sort of Enid Blyton infected Divergence and Hunger Games, though obviously tipping its hat mainly to Orwell's 1984 and Burgess's A Clockwork Orange. Written in a Phillip Pullman His Dark Materials style, perhaps." Pierre Mendez (Goodreads)

"Oh my goodness! A breath of fresh, albeit radioactive, air! A genuine page turner." Catherine (Goodreads).

"Quite a substantial novel that would be difficult to read in a single session– yet I found myself doing just that. Unputdownable for me. An ingenious, entertaining and action-packed adventure that you may find extremely difficult to put down." Neil Harris (London Bookz).

"Pretty damn cool. A truly global adventure that travels even farther! Highly original and impressive new writing by prolific sci-fi and adventure writer T. J. P. Campbell. An interesting array of characters including a classic original antagonist (wallpad woman)." R. Wang (Chinese science fiction writers).

"Looked, hooked and cooked. That's what I'm talking about! Extraordinary story. Sweet." Alan (Netgalley).

"So cinematic. So clever. So go read it!" Justin (Goodreads).

"The parody of Taylor Swift and One Direction early in the novel was thoroughly entertaining. I must make sure I never attempt to sing a high C again!" Donovan (Irish New Cultures).

"An interesting social commentary on the possible dire consequence of monopolising and dumbing down language through social media. A highly original idea backed up by a highly original story cleverly written." Julia (Wattpad).

A wallpad ORANGE is a 136,000 word dystopian sci-fi novel by T. J. P. Campbell. The book cover reflects the wallpad ORANGE corporation's connection to George Orwell's 1984 and Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange, a consequence of wallpad ORANGE being a master manipulator and insidious abuser of classic literature. It features the evil, ubiquitous, big-brother-esque face of wallpad woman, the face literally and figuratively of wallpad ORANGE.
