Simon immediately ran to hug Wilhelm.

Malin must have left the room to give them some privacy, because when they broke apart she was no longer in the room.
"How did your parents react?" Simon asked
"I don't know. I ran before she could talk to me. She looked really mad though" Wilhelm answered "I don't really want to know what her reaction was. I know she didn't like what I did. She cares more about the crown then me. Worst comes to the worst I'll abdicate"
"You're not going to abdicate. You are going to become king, an amazing one. And your mum will learn to accept it."
